After urging the spread of democracy in Latvia, The Netherlands, Russia and Georgia, President (and Laura) Bush returned to the White House. The president will resume work with Congress on Social Security and judicial nominees, as well as seeking help from China on getting North Korea back to negotiations on its nuclear weapons program.

"Thank God he is Home Safe...." You know it! Were you on the "grenade" threads? Whew!
Being greeted by Georgia's president and his wife
Bush shakes hand with Georgia's first lady Sandra Rulovs (R) as Georgia's President Mikhail Saakashvili (2nd R) greets Laura Bush during a welcoming ceremony in the courtyard of Georgia's Parliament in Tbilisi, May 10. Bush gave backing to ex-Soviet Georgia in its efforts regain sovereignty over two pro-Moscow separatist regions, as long as it was done peacefully.

A U.S. appeals court on May 10 2005 threw out a lawsuit that sought details about Cheney's 2001 energy policy task force. The unanimous ruling ordered a federal judge to dismiss the lawsuit by the Sierra Club environmental group and Judicial Watch that sought to learn about contacts between task force members and industry executives.

You know, I wonder if that's the puppy. I think I see brindle color.
Oops, I thought that doggie was baby Beezie. I get them mixed up.
I heard the story and I don't know if I buy it quite yet...it could be true, but our SS haven't even had a chance to inspect the item yet and I'm skeptical that they had no idea about the incident until after they left Georgia.
They have a pretty close watch over GWB, if something was within 100 ft, I think they would know about it.
At any rate, I'm glad he's home safe. But I'm a little wary of the media hype regarding the "grenade"...
Hi, Wolfstar!
Yeah, I think your right. I thought it was Barney at first, but it looks like Beezie. Notice who she went to first. Looks like GWB has taken over his wife's dog -- again. LOL!
I have not watched any news tonight or today. I didn't hear about the grenade. How frightening! I am so glad he and Laura are safe. Was there a thread about the grenade?
Thanks for the pictures. Thank goodness they are home safe and sound. That grenade incident takes the bloom off the rose of what sounds like an otherwise glorious visit in Georgia.
After press conference
Bush and Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili walk together after holding a joint press conference in Tbilisi
Hi kids!
DOH!
Yes, there was a thread about the grenade, I think it's still up.
Looks like the puppy got her first adult clip while the first couple were away. Also looks like she overshot her mark and ran straight between GWB's legs. Very cute.
Good evening Phancy!
LOL....the mother of all concilation prizes.
Hi,. Sunshine!
