Saw it on Shep Smith's report. I still won't believe it until a statement comes from either the Secret Service or the Government of Georgia.

Warning from Putin perhaps? "We can get to you, so be careful what you say against us".

There may be, I did a quick search and didn't find anything. I listen to talk radio all day at work, I heard the story of the 250,000 Georgians several times (ABC news radio updates)

"Shepard Smith on Fox reported on this said will give more details later in the program."
This "story" stinks to high heaven. Only NBC and Fox are "going" with it. It sure looks like the rest of the MSM is holding back waiting for verification.
This tells you alot. Usually the MSM is a horde of "pack" journalism but major MSM element are keeping quiet.
Nothing on Drudge either.

This portion of the President's First Inaugural Address (Jan. 2001) came to mind:
After the Declaration of Independence was signed, Virginia statesman John Page wrote to Thomas Jefferson: ``We know the race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong. Do you not think an angel rides in the whirlwind and directs this storm?''
Much time has passed since Jefferson arrived for his inauguration. The years and changes accumulate. But the themes of this day he would know: our nation's grand story of courage and its simple dream of dignity.
We are not this story's author, who fills time and eternity with his purpose. Yet his purpose is achieved in our duty, and our duty is fulfilled in service to one another.
Never tiring, never yielding, never finishing, we renew that purpose today, to make our country more just and generous, to affirm the dignity of our lives and every life.
This work continues. This story goes on. And an angel still rides in the whirlwind and directs this storm.
God bless you all, and God bless America.
