HOLY SH!T! Thank god he is safe. I watched his speech last night. 100 feet was about the closest they allowed any of the crowd from what I saw. I never seen anything thrown when I watched it. Could it have been pre-positioned with the pin pulled but the trigger rigged to go off by some other action? How could the Secret Service miss this?

Even if the President was out of range if the crowds were anthing like I saw on TV a whole lot of people would have been killed or injured if the thing had detonated.
Would have been a great embarrassment to the Georgian people and their Government.
