Girls who wrestled for several Puget Sound-area middle schools this year easily won their matches against boys from two private schools.
The girls stepped onto the mat. Their opponents from Tacoma Baptist and Cascade Christian stayed in their seats. The referee then raised the girls' hands to signal they'd won by forfeit.

In Ohio, school officials looked the other way when a handicapped girl was beaten and forced to perform oral sex, but in Washington a "father" wants to sue because no one will beat the crud out of his little darling????? Liberals ARE insane.
Perhaps we need to go to single-sex schools only.
I had a similar thought. Wrestling a girl who's your size is no trivial matter. She may not have your upper body strength, but she may have stronger legs than you. She's also balanced differently; she has a lower center of gravity. She's also done more wrestling with boys that you have with girls. A boy facing a girl for the first time could be at a serious disadvantage.
Of course, with the BCD glasses I wore (any military person knows what THOSE are...:)through school, any contact I might have been able to get in wrestling with the opposite sex might have been the high point (and also the ONLY point) of my high school experiences with them...
A desperate teenage guy will stoop to many things...:)
Girls acting like boys ping
Co-educational schools are sick enough.
But this is just too much.
LOL.. :o)
Wonder what ole dad would think, If some boy got in the ring,a nd proceeded to inflict the maximum amount of pain, for the entire 6 minutes........
What an excellent idea. Or better yet, how about this? "They" should change the rules to state that any time you don't 'make' the team of your choice, you are automatically on the girl's wrestling team instead. To wit, your daughter is a klutz but tries out as a cheerleader. She doesn't make it. Therefore, wrestling for her. Any girl who can't make the softball team because she can't catch or throw--wrestling for her. That way, there will be more than enough girls for all the wrestling teams.
what a joke - girls are no match for boys physically, period!
Ahem.
At five-ten and 120ish, which I hit at the tender age of 12, I was quite the match for any boy I knew.
Who ever said that Liberalism is a mental illness was right on.
A person has to be nuts to believe that perversion of American family traditions is normal.
That used to be true. Today's boys are feminized wimps.
There is no girls wrestling team because there are only a few girls in the entire country who want to wrestle. So, the rules get changed & the boys must suffer for these little "princesses" who want to wrestle like a boy. I guess supply & demand don't apply in this case. If they want to graplle, there are many martial arts academies that have female classes & tournaments.
I think if my teacher would have put it that way, I might have been able to spar with the girls...

What was the name of the military college a few years back that was forced to allow that girl to attend? She couldn't cut it and went home crying a couple of weeks later. It was the same deal there--boys/men are being forced to accomodate because girls think they can do it all and belong everywhere.
Perhaps there are too few girls who want to wrestle against BOYS, and if anybody had even the tiniest smidgen of gumption it would take to begin a girls' wrestling team, they MIGHT just find a market for it.
Regards,
PS: I have boys, both of whom I am trying to raise to respect women. That includes the hard-and-fast rule of NO HITTING (punching, kicking, pushing or wrestling with) GIRLS. IMO, this sort of gender-mixing can only cause problems for all involved.
She probably made the comment--she's been well indoctrinated, I'm sure, at home and at school.
yeesh i used to "wrestle" with girls all the time in school... oh wait... never mind
Ah, my former church - a "progressive" church. (rolling eyes)
