BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraq said on Sunday that security forces had captured Amar al-Zubaydi, a key aide to the al Qaeda leader in Iraq, Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

A government statement said Zubaydi, also known as Abu Abbas, was captured three days ago in Baghdad. It said he helped plan attacks on Abu Ghraib prison in April that wounded U.S. troops and several inmates as well as a string of car bomb attacks in Baghdad.

Jordanian militant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

Exactly what do you have to do in order to be labeled a "terrorist" in Reuters's view?

All of the islamic loyalist followers have been lied to and told that they are key aides.

However, according to Fox News this terrorist idiot is sort of a big catch. He is responsible for some of the big bombings in Iraq.

We know they are terrorist.

I will not hold my breath, whine, or wait for Reuters or any other news outlet to call a spade a spade.

Also remember that we hear different reports of the same capture from the different wire services. It gives the appearance of multiple "key aides" even if there was only one.

I believe the MSM especially likes to use this tactic when reporting on suicide bombings. They will write several articles on the same attack to make it seem like there were more than in actuality.

Say what? Abu Abbas? What's that, the terrorist equivalent of John Smith?

Abu Abbas highjacked the Achille Lauro and killed Leon Klinghofer. I imagine more than a few people want to talk to that SOB. Let Klinghofers kids push Abbas overboard inot the ocean with his hands and feet tied. Abu Abbas is a bad guy and deserves to be deep sixed.

Appears to be mewzilla. A lot of the islamics have the, go by, carry the same name.

I guess it is no different than our John Smiths, James Jones, etc.

Remember when they killed Saddams' sons? Lot's of people were saying "So what? Why haven't we caught Saddam?" We caught Saddam and people said "So what? Why haven't we caught Osama?" Guess people are impatient and don't understand what we are really accomplishing over there.
