False Religions must be destroyed
Great plan. Uhhh.... which ones are the false ones?

I once heard a guy define religious freedom as a transition period between two periods of religious persecution.

Thanks for providing this great thread..
Many anti-religionists don't like to be told that some habit they have is not good for them or for society. Yet the same anti-religionists want to tell everyone else how to behave.Tom Cruise, Bill Maher, and Phil Donahue are good examples of self-appointed, pseudo-bishops.
I'm reminded of Phil Donahue's incessant rant against Catholicism from his pulpit (his defunct TV show). He seemed most angry when recalling his teenage years, when the Catholic church was telling him not to have sex in cars.
How many aging men are still so defined by their rebellious adolescence? Will Phil ever grow up?

Thanks for looking. My vest pocket take is that many of the most vocal who wish to squelch any mention of expression of religious sentiments are deathly afraid ( and resent ) the very idea that someone will tell them "you really would be better off not doing that."
Perhaps a more concise way would be to say they want unlimited ( and uncommented upon ) license.

Democrats vs. Christians? -- Thus, according to Dean Democrats:
- The GOP has the agenda of Christian conservatives;
- Christian conservatives are our homegrown Taliban violence-prone fundamentalists who are identical to the Saudis and other Islamic militants;
- And oh, yes Christian conservatives and their Republican lackeys seek to establish a state-sponsored religion which will, presumably, reprise the Salem witch trials and Spanish Inquisition.
And Democrats still cant figure out why most religious people view them with emotions ranging from distrust to revulsion.

And John Warner of Virginia is NO FRIEND of Christians.
In fact, Senator Warner (R)Va., except for his strong support of the military, could easily fit into the RINO category.
Point being, H. Dean is of course wrong when he call the Republican party the party of White Christians.
