BANG!
Last night I got back from the range, cleaned my Ruger, a chaw of Redman, Ann on Hannity--it don't get no better than that . . .
Only things missing: Jane "Spittoon" Fonda. And my grammar.
NRA 4-ever
Maybe he should tell that to the Supreme Court!
Bunch of losers rubbing the backs of each others heads in this nooooze oooooze waste of a tree........ only draconian punishment of criminals stops crime. When the "social workers" of the socialist workers party understand the rehabilitation and punishment of a prisoner are two different things and should never be mixed then and only then will the prisoner understand that prison sucks and they will go out of their way to never return. Verses the Club Fed , College , Spa, bed and breakfast atmosphere that exists there today.
Can't ban the ford they drive to and from the crime no more than you can ban the knife, crowbar, gun, explosives or poisons they use to kill or hurt someone. Paper laws and paper attitudes don't stop a sharp knife or a 200gr projectile.
And to think Pizza Hut or The San Fagcisco rump rangers drives any form of policy outside of their parking lots is pure hype..........phucm !
Thanks for the ping Travis !
Stay safe !

Gun Control is hitting what you aim at.
They will never do that because if they were that honest they would come to the conclusion that there is not one tenable point to any gun control law. They would in fact find out that all gun control laws are unconstitutional and that no gun control law has had any positive impact on crime or violence. Indeed, the trend is just the opposite: the more gun control, the more crime and violence.

I avoid visiting Chicago, Washington, D.C. and New York as much as possible. Their idiotic gun control laws make them very dangerous places.
Abby Kohn is the very worst kind of gun-grabber:
one who is working to devise successful tactics for implementing gun-control.
She has taken the time to at least somewhat understand gun owners, and that makes her a far greater threat than whack-jobs like Sarah and the rest of the Brady Bunch.
As soon as they say "Lets sit down and take a deep breath and discuss this rationally, We both have the same goals do we not?" I turn off. The purpose of this article is to revive the dying anti gun movement and try to get gun owners to join it.
I can only say I discussed gun control with a liberal once and he said he was not in favor of gun control laws as he did not see them affecting the criminal use of guns in any way. I had to stop and think, here was a liberal who thinks about things. Not bad.
A good example is private gun sales, which are largely unregulated.
Whoops, your agenda is showing!
There is nothing new under the sun, especially when it involves gun-grabbers.
Agree......all smoke and mirrors to further a seditious dangerous agenda that will bring America down the same road paved with Brit and Aussie statistics that demonstrate clearly the banning of firearms kills only the citizen who follows the law in the first place.
What these wins mean is that gun enthusiasts, and in particular the NRA, no longer need to take an absolutist stance against all forms of gun control.
The NRA doesn't have an absolutist view, although it has moved to the right. The NRA supports enforcing current laws. An absolutist backs repealing them.
The NRA traditionally has argued that most, if not all, gun control is dangerous because it will lead the U.S. down a slippery slope to gun confiscation.
Which is true as seen around the world, and in US cities like NYC, DC, and maybe San Francisco.
American courts are slowly but surely recognizing what gun owners have known all along.
All it takes here are a few activist judges to change that. One Stephen Reinhardt.
I also see a lot of references to Harvard's Kennedy school of government. Who funded them on this study. What was their source? Is this a good faith, or a AGS style "gun control lite" scheme?
RE: Wendy Kaminer's piece.
It is not only a gun rights organization; it is effectively a right arm of the GOP, promoting the party line on issues having nothing to do with guns. Check out its Web site (nra.org), and youll find pages and pages of links to articles in the partisan press, including attacks on the U.N., John Kerry, trial lawyers, Tom Daschle, and Clintonomics.
The UN, John Kerry, Trial Lawyers, Tom Daschle, and Clinton are all anti-2nd Amendment. The NRA also backs a lot of democrats, particulary at the state and local level.
During the 1990s, to counter rising concern about violent crime and gun violence in particular, the NRA advocated harsh mandatory minimum sentences, including Californias notoriously draconian three strikes law.
I agree that this wasn't right. The NRA butters up to law and order types too much, I suspect because a large number of their membership is the police.
Finally, gun rights advocates who indulge in quasi-survivalist rhetoric should reconsider the highly anachronistic insistence that gun ownership is essential to mounting successful insurrections against an oppressive state.
But it is the last resort.
he might testify to the uselessness of firearms to a small group besieged by officers of a large government.
Koresh was bunkered and was an easy target. What's the weakest link in an oppressive government? It's not the troops, not cops. It's the politicians, and also why so many dictators lost power in an assassination.
RE: Kohn's 2nd piece
Gun controllers undoubtedly would use any good-faith efforts by shooters to push for yet more gun control, which eventually would pave the way for their true goal: confiscation. Or so the argument goes.
That's flat out documented.
gun control is a losing proposition for Democrats
True, but the biggest democrat donors are the biggest gun grabbers. George Soros and Moveon.org come to mind. It's not the blue collar dems you see pushing for gun grabs. It's rich leftist fascists.
However, I do support [Project X or Program Y]
The NRA does that with Exile. Enforces existing laws.
Sorry Abby. Pardon me while I remain a skeptic of your 'dealmaking'. I've seen this all too often in my 10+ years in the gun movement.
The Second Amendment needs to be fully restored, and only work that accomplishes that goal is legitimate to me: converting no-carry to CCW; converting CCW to Vermont/Alaska; repeal of the 1968 GCA and the 1934 NFA; relief from spurious civil litigation for manufacturers.
No additional restrictions on our 2nd Amendment rights, and repeal of the ones that already exist. That's the way we have to go.
This is just another fluff piece.
1: Never negotiate if you are in a position of strength.
2: The whole debate is about freedom. Plain and simple! Either we have it or we don't!
3: Always be very wary of anyone looking out for your well being.
The gun grabbers are on the ropes and they know it!!!
