For the freedom you enjoyed yesterday...
Thank the Veterans who served in The United States Armed Forces.
~May~ National Military Appreciation Month~
We thank you, you who volunteer To join the military to protect what's here... The Constitution, the Rule of law, Our way of freedom loved by all In this wondrous land of ours Whose Stars and Stripes flow freely Oer the land, whose seas are free, Dont tread on us... we are too, proud To let you turn us into dust!
We appreciate your bravery, your valor, Your honor, your gallantry, Thank You for all you do. And let Freedom ring the whole world through.
The price that's paid for freedom made an entire family terribly sad. A nation must know the price that's paid of blood, of tears, of love, greater than any made a life for freedom paid.
May our gracious God touch the hearts and ease their pain. Their loved one did not die in vain... A Hero walks tall in a lofty land of peace and will be forever young, In the Mansions of the Lord.
Amen

I had to giggle yesterday when I got a postcard from a local realtor and on the back was a list of "Days to Fly The Flag." My flag is flown 24/7/365 and 566 on Leap Year. :o)

I'm on the Canteen threads just about every night. I just don't have much to say. I read all the posts and enjoy (and sometimes RIGHT CLICK) the graphics. I do need to start letting everyone know when I'm just lurking. LOL

Following the rule that if you tell a lie enough times people start to believe it's the truth! LOL! Did it work??

Good morning, Meekie, and thanks for my cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows. Bunch of rain at the house. Maybe more tomorrow.

Thanks, uncle, for the Military tunes. And Gary Morris', "The Wind Beneath My Wings", is my favorite.

It was great. We had a great time that week. It's rained at the last three NASCAR races at Phoenix Int'l Raceway. Saturday was something else with the wind and rain. I was just glad it held off until after the race. The kids love it though.
