You don't get it. I posted something critical about it and I was attacked. No, you weren't ATTACKED; people COMMENTED on your posts; that's the way it works around here, and everybody understands that, except for the perpetually paranoid.

Actually he is a WASP from Scranton PA. He is big on Mexican Nanny's for his daughter and he just loves the idea she speaks Spanish better than English. He is a typical Liberal Preppy that we made fun of in the 80's.

That is fine, Howlin. But I move on. I don't continue and continue bashing, calling my small group of friends to do the same, etc.... People are on to the routine and are sick of it.

Telling an Aggie joke at an after hours roast when children are asleep on a Saturday Night is not forgoing the Christian base...we need to get a grip here!
To: shhrubbery!; Wallace T.
many FReepers are giving Laura Bush a pass on these remarks they would never have given Hillary Clinton, Tipper Gore, or Teresa Heinz. There would be a 2,000 post entry railing against their poor taste were they the ones who made such remarks That is because we take any opportunity to bash liberals.
We do it fo the same reason David Korn pretends to be 'shocked, shocked' when Laura Bush does it.
It neither case does it have anything to do with the actual propriety of the joke.

Would you like this joke told at your next church banquet?
To: shhrubbery!
Uh-oh, shhrubbery!
It's getting harder for the advocates of vulgarity on the thread to accuse you of being "born-again zombie."
Too bad you will punished for having good taste.

Absolutely Ohio and I think the Conservatives getting upset about it is fueling the MSM to start criticizing their original reaction was positive but the more certain Conservatives go on the more they will start criticizing, don't give them more fuel.

Are you unaware of FR rule of etiquette, or are you purposefully defying it?
Next time you talk about me, please do give me a ping, so that I can defend myself??
I have addressed the issue with twig and her right to speak her mind. SHE knows what I was doing............on the other hand, YOU clearly don't.

I don't want to debate anything. I made on comment. You felt compelled to start a debate, not me.
Some things are important, like the President being incompetent on one of the the most important conservative issues of our time, dismantling the Ponzi scheme.
People who focus on some goofy comedy routine by an unelected politico have truly lost their focus. That crap is nonsense.
If you see a thread where people want to talk about the debacle caused by the administration on the SS issue, please ping me to it. They are hard to find here because the truth hurts.

Nope, as I posted earlier, GWB is man enough to take it. We can all see that and that's one reason a lot of us love him. (Though I'd bet the ranch he's privately not real thrilled at the sarcastic --and lame-- "Mr. Excitement" joke.)
