The DC Chapter has begun its "7th Annual FReep Against Liberal Media Bias." The FReep is outside White House Correspondents Association dinner.
CSPAN Listing: White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. President George W. Bush and comedian Cedric the Entertainer speak. 9:30PM.
Interisting, no Laura Ingraham or Ann Coulter sighting.
We need a report from the Freepers on the streets.
See post #108
"How in the hell could you get fired....on your day off? "
I liked the line where he said there was lots of serious stuff going on in the world; Iraq, Social Security issues, "but what I want to talk about is that woman who abducted herself."
Are you drunk again?
Thanks.
What got into you? You normally don't start ripping into fellow posters, many of whom have been your friends.
Actually he thinks the way the cable channels program, right?
LOL! ; )
Yeah, he made a couple references that seemed to me to be mild cuts at the press corp. The one about the pope where he said something about not knowing the guy, I'm just repeating what you guys wrote.
That dining room where they had this event is beautiful. It is where FR had the House Managers Dinner.
Didn't someone post that MSNBC was going to cover the Freepers after the dinner?
They have gone to Headliners and ????
Maybe it was CNN---no
Oh,... I don't know. I didn't read that about MSNBC I don't think. Which doesn't mean it isn't happenng, of couse, I just didnt' read or hear it.
Hey guys I miss live event on C-Span
I see on repeat
BTW only Chris Mattehew i know is from SNL Hardball version
"What's with celebrities being invited to this? It seems so inappropriate, as if the media isn't leftist enough, they bring in their farm team?"
LOL! That was funny.
Nor does Hanoi Jane, Richard Gere, Mary Tyler Moore and a bunch of other hollyweird types who long for the spotlight. Unfortunately they're guests of the liberal press who seem to be thumbing their noses at us.
I like that blue lighting they had in that ballroom. I'd like to have that sort of lighting in the den/computer room.
What is Jon Cryer doing there?
