Reportedly at the National Review/Weekly Standard pre-dinner reception, Al Franken was shadowing Rumsfeld, even circling him. People were waiting for the next blowup.

More Fox people stopped by, including Jim Angle and Katherine Herridge. This being the seventh year of this particular FReep, the rest of the media seem to avoid our FReepers and no longer use the main entrance. They did see CBS’s Bill Plante across the street, and NBC’s Pete Williams walked through them.

The Freepers have now packed up and headed into the bar (in the same hotel) to watch the dinner on TV. The rain held off. The FReepers had a good time, with many passersby and only a few curses. A good number of people knew what FReepers are.

Kristinn’s closing comment to y’all: “Ya gotta come out and be a part of this!”
