It's coming up on Kentucky Derby.

The opening event is "Thunder over Louisville", it is an all day event. There is an air show, other entertainment and is capped off with one of the largest fire works displays in the country.

Thursday night a storm front came through with hail and tornado's. Had a cold front behind it.

Saturday for the big event temperatures were in the 30's, with wind and wet.

Crowds are usually in the 700,000 range, only 2-300,000 showed up. Just the die hards.

Had to turn the furnace back on. Today was dry but threatening. It's supposed to storm for the next 5 days.

Look out east coast, you get it next.

Spring in the Ohio valley is something else.

We aren't officially in tornado alley but we might as well be.

Nice warm afternoons and storms from the west wreak havoc.

I sat up in my 8th floor office and worked through a storm that spawned 6 tornado's last year.

Fun , fun, fun.

I just got a verbal description. They said she looked pasty and jaundiced.


What was astounding was that she was functional at all.

Driving with a HGB of 1.9. I wonder if it is against the law to drive legally dead.
