I've gotta say that 24 is so preposterously stupid. I'm not saying I don't enjoy it, but I'm constantly just shaking my head saying, THIS IS SO STUPID, THIS WOULD NEVER, EVER HAPPEN. And by the way, someone tell Audrey to leave. She makes me sick. The actress's technique consists of two expressions, pain and consternation. Not to mention she only crosses her arms when she acts. A man like Jack Bauer would never fall in love with such a..a...a...BUREAUCRAT!!!!

To the "24" deprived, the first two seasons are available for rental. They are well worth your time. The third season is available for sale at Wal-Mart for about $54. We purchased it, watched it and then resold it for $45 on Amazon. So it was about the same as renting it and we are all caught up. Last night's program was superb and Chloe did her duty in the way we all had to enjoy unless one is a dyed in the wool peacenik who doesn't believe that well targeted violence is the only way to deal with terrorists.

You are so right and after watching the Shield, it's impossible to watch a network show. Do you know what I mean. The Shield is so real, the people look like real people, the acting is unbelievable, the situations are real. We used to think 24 was great. But THE SHIELD ruined that.

Jack Bauer meets Vic Mackey? I'd love to see a Saturday Night Live Spoof of Vic Mackey at CTU!!!! Wouldn't that be a hoot! Tell you one thing, Vic wouldn't have let those Secret Service guys ruin his bust, that's for sure!

You know eskimo you are right, 24 is nothing more than a soap, or should I say insurance, ( bring in palmer) and it is fiction, we all know that, but, the show parallels allot what has gone on in this country and what could happen if the wrong people are in office. So let us have our fun and wonderment with a show that most FReepers happen to like.

The lawyer was actually from "Global Amnesty" - a swipe at Amnesty International?

Interesting. So Chloe isn't the bigshot that is about to get killed off.

No problem, I just check now and then to see if anything is changing for the better.

A direct swipe. They could've named it anything they wanted, but they made sure "Amnesty" was in the title. Bravo, 24!

Maybe Chloe and Jack will work in field next season. She has always liked Jack even though nothing romantic has been particularly implied. But I think Jack is going to lose the Secretary of Defence's daughter to her ex.As long as she does end up with Edgar. Two computer geeks do not a romance make.

I would love to see that! They go together like peanut butter and jelly. A great combination.

Not their function to act on US soil. Besides, when they do try to do what it takes, the democrats scream holy hell.

Chloe is the most annoying person on the face of the Earth.

If I saw her (character) in person, I would have to resist the temptation to punch her.

Man she weird (keep in mind, I have only seen season 3 of the show....I hope they rerun this in the summer).

I must have missed a lot if they are actually working together now. The only season I have seen was season 3 thanks to a borrowed DVD set.

In that season, I hated her guts. It sounds like she is finally normal now.

Chloe was very blunt and unlikeable in Season 3, but now a year and half later (24 time), she's calmed down and is much more human.

Jack and Chloe aren't "working together" techinically this year, but Chloe has definitely been the go-to-girl for Jack.
