I predict that chloe will be running CTU next season.

You may be right. She practically runs it now (not to mention last season).

You miss out on much....

Jack Bauer is what this country needs. A guy who loves the USA and will do WHATEVER he has to to make sure Americans are kept safe.

Is Elisha Cuthbert back this season? No Kim this year (at least not yet). She's currently starring in "House Of Wax".

I love seeing them on the DVD's also - 4 on one DVD and the next night one of us manages to go get the next 4.

Absolutely the best tv in a long, long while. However, I do not have much luck in getting people to watch it.

In fact, this is the best rental we have ever gotten also - so well done and riveting. Only thing, takes so long for them to get them out after the season is over.

I liked the part when the boss told her to get her stuff and go to the house to access the computer. She turned and walked off and said "I don't do that". He called her back, and said you are going - and she claimed she was not a field agent. But, she went - scared to death.

What gets me on that show - they have 50 seconds to access encrypted data, to break a password, to get files downloaded or whatever and it always works. When in reality, I get on the computer to do something thinking it will be a 15 minute job and I'm there for two hours with nothing working.

Well, do you really want to watch Chloe sitting there for half an hour waiting for a download? :)

Maybe if she's holding a gun...

" There is one thing I do not like about the Shield, though, and it is that they seem to just "forget" characters and lines. For ex., what the hell happened to Tevon?? and what about Shane's wife?

Exactly. They did have a throw away line about Tevon a few episodes ago, which did nothing to answer the hanging story line.
The same with Danny's partner, Julien-one episode he's gay, the next he's married, the next episode he's back to being gay, then he's trying to have a baby with the wife, etc.
That story line has been mercifully dropped.
Ronnie is burned , traumatized and disfigured last season and now he's fine and dandy.
Agree on Shane .
Which is too bad, because before this season, he was one of my favorite characters.
I also think that somehow Rawlings and Vic will find out about Aceveda's seamy side and they will team up to expose him .

"IMO, The Shield is far more interesting than 24."

Thank you for your input. I'm sure a lot of people enjoy
watching a 400-year-old police commander and a bald fat guy, but not me.

Chloe rocks!

I think I noticed the show is re-run on Sunday nights but we didn't save the tv guide from the newspaper Sunday so I can't check for you.

It was an EXCELLENT show!

We have several thousands of them already. They call it the US military.

Do you ever listen to the commentary?

I've watched a few of these, and I get the sense that the multiple directors is a problem for continuity; and that when the writers see something going down a blind alley, they drop it rather than tactfully resolve it. That's the worst thing about "Shield." I half expect Tevon to get his full memory back, come out of that hospital and beat the livin' hell out of Shane . . . and his skinny wife!

Agreed on Shane---they have made him a little too "redneck," and "Lem" (Len?) they have made a little too wimpy.

On Ronnie, they tried to explain his burns by having him with a beard. You can see a little scar there.

Which series are YOU talking about? Rawling and/or Aceveda aren't 400 years old, and Mackey isn't fat. Does have a temper, though.
