The MSM doesn't even bother to hide it's bias on certain occasions.

Well, that tells me something about journalist. When did fighting for God, country, babies, families and moral traditions become evil, and wanting to do away with all those things become "good hearted"?

Stop the planet, I wanna get off.

Democrats are incompetent but good-hearted, and Republicans are very efficient but evil

Several years ago a lawyer friend commented that Jerry Brown's judicial appointments (california) "couldn't read, write, or think...but had their hearts in the right place". Later he amended the second part.

Only in journalistic warped minds, does this thinking occur.

Rove is either being strategic or he is delusional, a fool, or an idiot.

Big Media is also under the delusion that most Americans are left of center but that many would-be Dem voters were scared into casting their votes for Bush. The truth is that most Republican-hating Democrat males I know are more conservative on social issues than I am. A lot of them are single-issue voters often times union membership being the single issue. If Big Media was just slightly fair in reporting the news, Bush would have gotten at least 55% of the vote...maybe 60%.

"There's one other base here: the media. Let's talk a little media bias here. The media, I think, wants Kerry to win. And I think they're going to portray Kerry and Edwards -- I'm talking about the establishment media, not Fox, but -- they're going to portray Kerry and Edwards as being young and dynamic and optimistic and all, there's going to be this glow about them that some, is going to be worth, collectively, the two of them, that's going to be worth maybe 15 points."

Geez, when I first read this, I thought it was a satire on Rush's comments on McNabb.

No, Democrats have a greater percentage of evil persons that Republicans. The Democrats, for example, were in much more of a frenzy to have Terri Schiavo die a slow and horrible death, even though Judge George Greer, who denied her due process and demanded that she be starved to death, is a Republican.

Reacting to Bush White House counselor Karl Rove's contention that the Washington press corps is "less liberal than it is oppositional,"...

It shouldn't amaze me at this point, but still does, that the Bush administration doesn't understand the basic differences between conservatives and liberals. That's why they are so comfortblae growing government, spending freely, increasing giveaways, and palling around with their new family friend Bill, and helping to resurrecting his, and Hillary's, image. All this, despite GWB II's 2000 campaign promise to "restore the dignity of the White House."

The above statement from Rove further confirms what I concluded about Bush I and the GOP power brokers in 1988-- there are no heirs to Ronald Reagan. The Bushes are Beltway blue blood Republicans who campaign to the right but are in fact "liberals" in the early 70's sense. They are CINO's: Conservatives in Name Only, when it suits their campaign goals. They are cut from the same political cloth as the Clintons, and Rove once again gives us an insight into their mindset. Why do we think the Bush clan is not horrified at Billary's attempts at excessive federalism and Bill's philandering and moral bankruptcy?

Yet many of us will still fall in '06 and '08 for the "GOP-good/ DNC-bad mantra", without looking closely at the so-call conservatives that the GOP serves up.
