ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Zacarias Moussaoui pleaded guilty Friday to conspiring with the Sept. 11 hijackers to kill Americans and declared he was personally chosen by Osama bin Laden to fly a plane into the White House during a later attack.
Moussaoui admitted guilt in front of a packed courtroom only a few miles from where one of the four hijacked planes crashed into the Pentagon in 2001. He pleaded to six conspiracy counts, four of which could bring the death penalty.
-snip In the statement of facts, Moussaoui said bin Laden had personally selected him to take part in an attack on the White House with a commercial airliner.

From the BBC:
Judge Brinkema asked him if he understood the charges against him and the sentences which could be imposed.
"Yes, indeed," he answered. "I don't expect any leniency from the Americans."

"Yes, indeed," he answered. "I don't expect any leniency from the Americans." Well, at least from most of them.

I heard the part about the "second wave" on the radio (Hannity) - but can't find it in print yet.

I was wondering why he would plead guilty. Then found this comment by him.
Moussaoui, 36, said, ``I can't expect any leniency from the Americans.'' Still, he said, ``I will fight every inch against the death penalty.''
He is going to use up as much of our tax dollars as he can before the switch is thrown.
Many of us older freepers will meet our maker before this scum will!

Some U.S. officials initially said they believed Moussaoui was supposed to have taken part in the attacks as the "20th hijacker." Others later said he was supposed to have been part of a "second wave" of attacks that were not carried out. From

"... Wait, I thought that the Bush administration hired the attacks, on 9-11." This is an important point you bring up.
Fellow Freepers, let's keep watch on how the international 'Bush Knew!' conspiracy is spun to reflect Moussaoui's guilty plea in order to keep their insane theory intact.

Gee, he appeared to be just a nice guy being overwhelmed by the laws of our country. /sarcasm

It was also in the 9-11 commission report, I believe, the fact that the US moved to shut down all the airports on 9-11 in North America prevented a second wave of attacks that had been planned
I have a friend who is a border guard at a primo area for terrorists to target and he claims they were told about a potential second wave that day

Nope....they can't upset the sheeple.
Now back the Michael Jackson trial.
