And we waste time, effort and money trying to figure out a way that we can "track" these monsters??? What has happened to our society. They should and MUST be locked up.
That poor little baby - it is unthinkable.

I'd like to see somebody argue why this guy shouldn't be given the death penalty.

It's so depraved and evil, even hardened criminals find it disturbing and wish to harm these creeps.

Horror writers need not make up imaginary monsters, they walk amongst us.

And the judge who released this scum bag will live on to let another creep back on the streets of America.

"I'd like to see somebody argue why this guy shouldn't be given the death penalty. "

OK....Then here I go...

Institutionalized death penalty would be far to peaceful and costly for this scumbag....

Life without parole in general population would be far better....

In his case "life" would probably be less than 1 week.....and a pretty horrific week at that..

We need an offshore "devil's island" for such criminals where they can be cheaply warehoused for decades. Major drug pushers too.

I can not even imagine what her father must be going through...at least Jessica is at peace. Mark Lunsford lives in hell every day thinking about his child suffering in this way, God Bless him and may He hold Jessica tight in His arms!

As far as the criminal (he doesn't even deserve a name at this point, assign him a number and be done with it) goes......let Mr. Lunsford and his friends have him for a few minutes. It won't cost the taxpayers a dime and Mr. Lunsford will feel a whole lot better.

I can't believe his relatives can't be charged with obstruction or aiding and abetting.

If it was my daughter, my thoughts would be, "at least 3 of them are out on the streets where I can reach them." And believe me, they would be reached.

I agree with what you said. And I would make sure they saw my face so they knew who and why also.

My thoughts, exactly. Death is too good for this creep.

Mark Lunsford, father of murder victim Jessica Lunsford, right, shows his emotion as he speaks at a news conference regarding legislative passage of the anti-murder act, Tuesday, April 19, 2005, in Tallahassee, Fla. Attorney General Charlie Crist, who is urging the legislature to act quickly on the bill, is at left. Lawmakers are debating legislation dealing with lifetime tracking of sex offenders, a measure spurred by Jessica's abduction and murder. Other legislation aimed at people who violate conditions of their probation spurred by the murder last year of Carlie Brucia, is stalled. (AP Photo/Phil Coale)
