Yes but we cannot become like them :-(
I honestly don't think we'll ever see a trial. If you will note, he plead NOT GUILTY. That lets things open for him and his scuzzball attorney to plea bargain for life in prison rather than the death penalty. I can see it coming. And I bet the DA takes the plea rather than do the necessary work to have this freakin' MUTANT removed from the face of this earth.
You are certainly right we cannot let them make us become just like them or Evil wins...but I must confess when I see stories of atrocities like these against children my sense of sorrow for the victim and the family, horror at the inhumanity of the deed and outrage against the perpetrator tends to lead me to wish more for Old Testament Yahweh-smiting-mightily style Justice than for New Testament Jesus-turning-the-other-cheek style Forgiveness.
Mea culpa...
You know, that's not a bad idea. Sex offender colony.
Let Mark Lunsford have him and then throw him on death row where the inmates will give him a taste of what he gave to poor little Jessica.
My prayers go out to the Lundsford family for what they are thinking and feeling.
What an absolute piece of garbage in human form and he should not have the easy way out via quick death. Let him feel the fear and pain that little girl felt before God welcomed her to a peaceful place!!!!
Well, the democrats wouldn't wan't him to be executed because they would be losing a voter.
im jessies step sister and i do not believe in the death penalty. But i say he needs to fry in the electric chair for what he has done to her. Or they should put him in an electric fence with jessies family and a bunch of other parents from around the world. she was the type of child that would not speak to strangers. She was wonderful and very well loved by anyone who met her. You could not be mad at her for anything because she never done anything wrong. she was a picky eater but we encouraged her to be her own person. and that she was. perfect grades in school.
who could kill a kid as sweet as her, or a kid at all?
she is missed everyday by me and my fiancee and we pray every night that no other child will be abducted.. He has two kids and now after all this we dont even let them go outside without one of us. Its sad that the gov lets these animals back in to the world as if they have not done anything. I say they should spend the rest of their lives caged instead of the kids in the world....
Rest in peace jessie and may houey be sentenced to the electric chair.
My heart is still breaking for sweet Jessie and those who loved her. On going prayers to you and your family.
Thnaks for posting here on FR, and welcome.
I wish this monster could be buried alive.
This is soooo heartbreaking.
I wonder if anyone will have the nerve to drop by this thread and talk about the wisdom of legalizing drugs like meth and cocaine?
There is a special place in Hell for people who do such crimes. Myself, I'd like to parachute him over Fallujah with him wearing an "I Hate Islam" T-Shirt or perhaps in the mountains of West Virginia wearing a BATF jacket.
There is no question, there is evil in this world.
Trial by firing squad. Immediate.
I'm so sorry. I would shoot the bastard myself if I had the chance. Evil monsters like this are not human and do not deserve the precious gift of life.
Kafka's dark sense of reality shines through in this piece in his in The Great Short Works of Franz Kafka. As he often does, Kafka uses his alter reality as a metaphor for our reality. The Penal Colony is a peice about a machine that punishes criminals by slowly engraving a script into the criminals body spelling out their crime and eventually killing them. He details the workings of the machine; from it's bed of cotton and biting felt, to it's harrow, where the sharp needles lie in wait. Holding true to his metaphorical style, the machine represents a broader machine in our reality; the justice system. He subtley equates the the workings of the machine with the processes and workings of our own systems, obviously denouncing their mechanical ways. This is a great piece to introduce Kafka and his styles and should lead you to pick up others of his works.
Personally I think that this "guilt process where the criminal learns the true nature of his crime" should be implemented for the sexual predator since rehabilitation is not possible.
People like that don't feel guilt.
I would just like to say to everyone that it is a very sad and heinous crime that was commited. I do feel very much for Jessie and her father as well as the man consumed with evil who took the innocent girl from him. I simply don't understand how posting comments that he doesn't deserve to live and he should be put through a shredder feet first does anyone any good. I heard her father in an interview this morning on the MJ morning show and though he is heartbroken he does not wish to hurt anyone. He said even though he wouldn't be convicted if he killed the criminal that it would not benefit anyone. Instead he wants to promote awareness and help parents keep their children safe. I think that we could all learn a great deal from him. These comments of murder only make you the same as her killer... a criminal. Please do not conform to what society has made you believe is acceptable why would it be ok for anyone to take someone else's life? Really think about it. It is legalized murder! Nothing more. Let him spend his life in prison. Rather than the easy way out, why not make him spend the rest of his days thinking about what he did and getting right with God. If it is his time he will be taken.
