OKC Bombing Al Qaida Linked

Bombshell new evidence ignored by the FBI suggests a link between the Oklahoma City bombing and the man who masterminded the first World Trade Center bombing and who later drew up the blueprint for the 9/11 attacks, Fox News Channel's Rita Cosby is set to report Sunday night.

"It's amazing to me that not more has been made of those phone records,” Oklahoma City attorney Michael Johnston tells Cosby, for her tenth anniversary special on the 1995 attack. The explosive new evidence shows that OKC bombing co-conspirator Terry Nichols repeatedly called a boarding house in [the Philippines'] Cebu City, an establishment that has been linked to al Qaida Twin Tower bomber Ramzi Yousef.

The same kind of ANFO fertilizer fuel bomb was used in that attack and the one two years later that destroyed the Alfred P. Murrah building.

Additional phone records dismissed by earlier investigations show that repeated calls were made from Terry Nichols' home to a place called Star Glad Lumber in the Philippines.

"Star Glad Lumber is operated by a man whose brother and cousin were both notorious terrorists, splinter groups of the Abu Sayyaf terror group in the Philippines,” Johnston tells Cosby.

After Yousef's Philippine bomb factory was uncovered in February 1995, Philippine police discovered three versions of the 9/11 plot on his laptop computer.

In one formulation, Yousef intended to plant bombs on 12 U.S. airliners flying over the Pacific, with each bomb to be detonated simultaneously.

A second variation involved bombing planes over U.S. territory.

A third version of the plans discovered on Yousef's computer envisioned hijacking multiple airliners in the U.S. and crashing them into national landmarks. The World Trade Center and Pentagon were mentioned specifically.

Investigators say that after his capture, Yousef's uncle, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, took the plans and presented them to Osama bin Laden, who decided in finance the third version.

Cosby's special report will also delve into claims made by Yousef's al Qaida partner in the Philippines, Abdul Hakim Murad - who was captured on the spot after Yousef fled.

On the morning of April 19, 1995 - the day of the OKC blast - Murad reportedly told a guard at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City where he was being held that he and Yousef were behind the attack.

Reporting for Insight Magazine in 2002, investigative journalist Kenneth Timmerman detailed the episode:

"Lt. Philip Rojas, a prison guard, asked Murad what he thought [about the blast] and found his response so startling that he informed his superiors. They, in turn, called the FBI.

"Special Agents Francis J. Pellegrino and Brian G. Parr arrived later that morning, within hours after the Oklahoma City blast. 'Murad responded to the guard's question by stating that the Liberation Army was responsible for the bombing,' they reported in a witness report. 'A short time later, Murad passed a note to the guard, again claiming that the Liberation Army was responsible for the bombing in Oklahoma City.'"

Timmerman said that the "Liberation Army" was a fictitious organization used as a code by Yousef, and other al Qaida members "whenever they are making announcements" of responsibility for terrorist attacks.

Tune in to the Fox News Channel, Sunday, 9 p.m. ET, for Rita Cosby's special report: "The Oklahoma City Bombing: Unanswered Questions."

Ordinarily I'd say the fat's in the fire, now; but, with the pathetic, miserably corrupt Lamestream media and the quislings infesting it in control?
This fascinating & enlightening matter may never see the light of day.

Of course if it ever did, there'd be a lot of people -- especially around here -- having something quite unusual for dinner.

...crow.

Same here. Local news especially full of the "meaning" of the day, something that leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. The "meaning" is much more than soulful hugs and on-camera tears--the "meaning" is, quite possibly and quite likely, an attack on the heart of this country by turncoats and M.E. terrorists, covered up by a corrupt president and the organizations he controlled, and their water carried by a willing media and easily mollified victims and their families.

And that's the polite version. (I feel we should fumigate the state after Clinton sullied it once again today.)

Most interesting was the missing video angle of the story. Some 25 video tapes (of the bombing/murrah building) are being withheld from FOIA (fox news) by the justice department due to ongoing investigation. These tapes were withheld from Timothy McVeigh's defense as well. They were also the source of an FR related dustup involving 'bluedogdemo' (memory). He failed to produce the tapes for a congressional hearing, tarring everyone involved including the congressman who announced the tapes were going to be produced.

So the tapes are not 'lost', and they are being withheld by the DOJ, my guess - illegally.

Good morning.

What irritated me the most about the FNC special was the smug expression on Danny Coulsen's face. Coulsen has blood on his hands from Ruby Ridge to Waco, and there are way too many questions about his actions immediately before and after the bombing of the Murrah Building.

Of course there are questions about the actions of most of the FOb's actions during the clinton presidency.

Good morning (it's still before noon in California, right).

It's hard for me to keep up with all the "players". Agendas, motives, etc. I have so many unanswered questions about the Clinton years. But I am automatically suspicious of anyone in the Clinton Camp.

Shame on most Arkansans for electing this scourge and letting them stay in power long enough to reach the national stage. Shame on Ross Perot, too.

And OKCSubmariner? He was run off this board because of certain people who decided he was a liability.

I'd be interested in hearing a little more detail on that. Mind FReepmailing me?

My impression was that FR was one of the few outlets where a real effort to out gov. fraud, abuse, etc. was made openly and without fear of reprisals. Am I off base?

No. Unles you're a real S#@T-disturber who makes baseless allegations and can't back them up.

My remembrance of the aftermath of this tragedy was how the Clinton admin. put a huge focus on militia groups in the US as responsible. They went out of their way to pull attention AWAY from foreign terrorists.
The FBI may indeed be rotten to the core, but the AG office under Reno was in it up to their eyeballs.

It's certainly true, Clinton did everything he could to empower Islamic terrorists, short of sending them direct contributions.

I've just got two questions, and there may well be good answers as I have not been involved with this issue. Why did McVey continue to say they acted along until his death and why doesn't Nichols say anything now?

I do not know, it has been a couple of years. But it ran for at least two issues.

"Why did McVey continue to say they acted along until his death...?" LG

Part speculation part fact -
Tim Mcviegh has a sister who was facing prosecutorial pressure, which did not materialize (fact).
TM cared deeply for his sister (almost fact).

Speculation: TM acted the way he did after the bombing to protect his sister.

Speculation: TM acted the way he did after the bombing because he realized that he was manipulated into being the fall-guy/triggerman for an islamic plot to attack the US. He did not want to go down in history as being a dupe, but instead someone that acted for his own cause (which in a warped way he believed was just).

Has some validity. Thanks.

It has always struck me as extremely suspect that TM was executed so quickly. It must have been some sort of modern day record for carrying out the death penelty in our country.
