Does Free Republic and Jim Robinson ban those who disagree with them? asks The Conservative Voice.
Most all of the posters seek "Anonymity" when replying to the question raised on The Conservative Voice website: Is Free Republic Biased?
Nathan Tabor, Senior Editor and webmaster, moderates this running "Topic of the Day" and everyday discussion.
One "Anonymous" poster writes: "Re: Is Free Republic Biased? Biased? Well, since the site is dominated by paid party operatives and federal employees who allow no dissent from the Bush regime's latest political propaganda releases, you could say that it's more a solid, one way amen corner for the neoconservative cabal than a biased website."
Still another "Anonymous" poster writes:"Re: Is Free Republic Biased? They banned me for complaining about losing my career to outsourcing. They taunted and gloated with perverse kitty pictures, infantile cartoons, and guttural remarks that reveal their mentality. The flames fanned by their hatred are now licking at their heels."
ALIPAC also posts the subject: Conservative Website FREE REPUBLIC Mutinies over Bush Comments" and notes: "With reports coming in from around the nation of a split in the conservative base over the Bush amnesty and open borders plans, the nations most frequented conservative website erupted into a mutiny against Bush policies on Thursday. This article below elicited the response. Please take the time to read this article and the comments of many conservatives that are dismayed by Bush's statements about the Minuteman Project on FreeRepublic.com As many of you know, Free Republic had made previous efforts to control the debate by purging immigration reform users."
What seems to be a fledgling conservative based site, The Conservative Voice appears to seek readership through indexed forums dedicated to the Mother Bird herself, Free Republic. If you were wondering what happens to those little birds that fall or are kicked out of the FR nest (which I know you do not, but makes my play on words work); you might find some of them under the Free Republic Indexed forums over on The Conservative Voice.
Yes. We don't like liberals, as a rule.
Damn! Where's MY check?? (hehe)
Boy, I'm sure glad DNC Underground isn't operating this way!

No reason to shoot the messenger; good to know what's 'out there' re Free Republic. . .
"lazamataz is something of a joker
lazamataz is such a retard"
lazamataz is hot
lazamataz is as decent
lazamataz is not a moderator
lazamataz is correct on the new authority that has been put in the hands of reno"
I dunno about the rest of this, but line 2 tells me some chick thinks you are hot, so I say check it out!!
Correction:
where it says "purging immigration reform users" read "banning Stormfront members."
and where it says "They taunted and gloated with perverse kitty pictures, infantile cartoons, and guttural remarks that reveal their mentality." read "I was a big liberal whiner that the viking kitties attacked."
Agreed. Also look at all the Schiavo and Magouirk threads to see the level of discussion. Yes, the "pro-life" folks greatly outnumber the "pro-rule of law" group in these threads, but outside of "beyond the pale" remarks fit only for DU, the moderators have been very fair and open to both sides. Free Republic would not be the preeminent site it is today, if opposing viewpoints weren't permitted.
I've got your paychecks over here - if you'll just send me all your bank account information - account number, routing number and the like, I'll be happy to deposit them immediately. Right now, it's a total of about 115 million dollars. It'll take a few days, seeing how it's Saturday, and I'll have to route the money from the Central National Bank of Nigeria...
I am a hot decent moderator retard joker.
Line 3 that is.....putting on dunce cap........
Link?
the same guy banned last week for calling others "nazi's"?
The Free Republic Forum Asks: "Does the Conservative Voice Need to Get a Life?"
That still might be good enough for her!
Actually, it isn't. All of those entities you cite present themselves as "objective" "news" organizations (except maybe NPR). And therein lies the problem. FreeRepublic is a discussion forum. The question of whether or not it is biased is meaningless.
Darn it! How come I never get paid for posting?
You need to submit at VRCW Form 50-4-W.2 in triplicate with the Office of Kickbacks, Payoffs and Graft. The OKPG is funded through Haliburton subsidies, so there's more than enough gravy to go around. Stop FReeping on the cheap, sign up today.
(In addition to the normal pay, new applicants are given a complimentary T-shirt (only available in 'digital brown').)
True. But that's backwards. If anyone DOES subscribe to every single one--or most--of the President's policies, that person is NOT as conservative, because the President is not.
I'm looking for a woman who will settle.
" Is the Conservative Voice conservative" ??????
