Security will be tight at University of St. Thomas on Monday when conservative author and commentator Ann Coulter speaks at 12:30 p.m. in O'Shaughnessy Educational Center auditorium, one block north of Summit and Cleveland avenues.
Her topic will be "Liberal Lies About the American Right.''
Coulter's speech is open to the public, but audience members will be asked to check coats and book bags during the program.

As long as Ann is not harmed physically, she won't mind the publicity of an immature attack like a pie in the face. Gives her more press exposure and portrays the left as a bunch of whiney punks who don't respect free speech.

We had John O'Neill ("Unfit for Command") here Mon. night and the libs tried to monopolize the microphones and make speeches. He tore them apart---very low key, etc., but all of these forums need good microphone control and security.

My alma mater allowed howard zinn to come in and give a speech about a week after the latest Iraq war started. But they've yet to allow a counterpoint speaker from the conservative arena. I have told them they get no alumni money from me until they do.
Tells me the lefties at least have the cojones to fight, and the right does not. I would love to see a few cow pies hurled at Al Franken, Michael Moore,David Corn et al. by us patriots when THEY visit our institutions of higher ed. The Schiavo case is a sad example of the rights lack of courage. WE killed her by sitting back and allowing her to be killed. You can blame judges like Greer all you want, but they were just acting like judges; Governor Jeb should have acted better. I am really OT on this, so Ill stop now.

Ward Churchill gets standing ovations when he speaks, that pretty much sums it up.
The last two that tried ended up needing medical attention. Bloody noses and broken bones.
There should be some pies in the audience to pelt the protesters with if they act up. Otherwise, they can just eat the pies :0)
Someone needs to pie Churchill. Though I suspect security is pretty tight at his speeches. Maybe a good blasting of silly string.
