Updated: 8:37 pm EDT April 20, 2005

NEW YORK -- A huge brush fire burned near the Lincoln Tunnel in New Jersey Wednesday, causing major disruptions for commuters.

Delays were expected to continue for hours.

The fire did not affect New Jersey Transit's Hoboken line. But it did disrupt visibility for drivers coming out of the Lincoln Tunnel, and on to the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 1 and 9.
