I think Rev. Perryman's main intent was to create a legal record of all the harm done to African Americans by the Democrat Party.

I'm not a legal expert but I believe that one must ask for some 'compensation' when suing for wrongdoing.

Please take a look at Perryman's website:

www.wayneperryman.com

And reread the details of his case in post #1.

I did go to the website and found essentially the same information which includes a host of monetary demands which certainly appears to be compensation.

I for one, am happy to see this kind of a record put into the public light, but I am at the same time just as opposed to any type of reparations as I have been from all of the leftist attempts at such extortion. I would be completely disingenuous to now support it simply because it's aimed at Democrats.

This still fits into David Horowitz' list against reparations, point 1 "Assuming there is actually a debt, it is not at all clear who owes it".

After the amusement wears off, we must oppose this just as vehemently as all the others.

Thank you for the link.

I did go and read his site.

Partisanship wants me to back his attack on the rats, but for the sake of partisanship alone I am not and probably will never be convinced of reparations.

If he was going after the party to dissolve it because of it's past & present crimes, including racial cultivation I could back it.

His charge, as written, puts the entire political spectrum into chaos. That would include jailing the likes of Jesse Jackson, Sharpton, Rangel, Waters, etc. etc. for advancing crimes on a national basis through a political party, backed by the MSM, advanced through various times that they ran the respective governments tricling down to taxpayers and voters.

Then voters and members would be affected for just holding an voter ID of the wrong party.

I don't like it. None of it.
