I think Rev. Perryman's main intent was to create a legal record of all the harm done to African Americans by the Democrat Party. I'm not a legal expert but I believe that one must ask for some 'compensation' when suing for wrongdoing.

I did go to the website and found essentially the same information which includes a host of monetary demands which certainly appears to be compensation.

I for one, am happy to see this kind of a record put into the public light, but I am at the same time just as opposed to any type of reparations as I have been from all of the leftist attempts at such extortion. I would be completely disingenuous to now support it simply because it's aimed at Democrats.

This still fits into David Horowitz' list against reparations, point 1 "Assuming there is actually a debt, it is not at all clear who owes it".

After the amusement wears off, we must oppose this just as vehemently as all the others.

Hey, I agree with you all.....I'm not for reparations either.... but I think Perryman wanted to hold the Democrats responsible and to show other African Americans that their 'loyality' was 'unfounded'.
