Carl Ford told the Foreign Relations committee yesterday, under oath, that he is "more conservative than John Bolton". That's in addition to claiming to be a “loyal, conservative Republican to the core”. But, in addition to the donations listed, he was also a staffer to former Ohio Democrat John Glenn. The man seems like a liar to me.

Ford's testimony about Bolton is hearsay. He didn't even over hear it. He stated one or maybe two people told him what Bolton said to the employee he tried to fire[?]

He [Ford] wasn't even in the room, if you listened to every thing he testified about, when the discussion took place.

In a court case his statement would not have been allowed.

Ford was complaining that Bolton wasn't PC and nicer with his comments

"The man seems like a liar to me. "

I was half-listening to Brit Hume's opening statement on his show tonight and a comment he made caught my ear. It went something like this: "The dressing down a State Dept. employee claims he received from John Bolton may have been triggered by a lie the employee told."

I wasn't able to listen to the program, and was wondering what the eventual story was. I tried checking Fox's website, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone have any info as to what Brit's story on this was?

Not only that, but he comes across as an oleaginous stooge of a bureaucrat who has entirely too much regard -- for himself.

When Ford was allowed to launch into a long admiring bio of his own self, it got so sickening I had to change the channel.

I came back about 10 minutes later and Ford was STILL talking about what a wonderful guy he is.
