"Words simply don't bother me...it's a way of expressing thoughts. Judge it for what it is..in fact I'm not so sure if they aren't making shirts like this to get traffic to their website."

Words don't bother you? Suppose somebody made an anonymous phone call to a mother and said "I am going to kidnap and murder your child."

Those words may not bother you, but the police would be very interested in stifling that kind of "free speech."

It's a felony.

The "Kill Bush" products have been removed from CafePress.com. They were created by individuals across the globe, as are the more than 8 million products available on CafePress.com, a diverse network of more than one million shops.

Hate related materials are in violation of our terms of service and are prohibited from being sold through CafePress.com. CafePress.com is an automated service, and as such, products are reviewed on an ongoing basis to ensure that merchandise that is in violation of our terms of service is removed from our site.

I think it's kind of odd to call their service "automated" unless they are referring to store creation. They basically have an online store template, but all orders are produced at one facility in California. What that means is all the graphics are going to go through an art dept. and then to production. But- that only happens if someone places an order. I imagine there may be many many cafepress stores that don't make any sales, so the company won't be aware of questionable material until it's called to their attention or they find it in a review. I'd say the designers of the shirt got what they wanted- notoriety.

Yeah, after seeing some of the posts, it became obvious that the site worked something like that. They made a smart move by leaving an explanation in it's place. They don't want to get torched because of some idiot polluting their site. I wonder what kind of response they got in the way of complaints - it would have been interesting to be a fly on that wall as they came rolling in..

What exactly does it say? It says "for God's sake, **** Bush..." and the rest is too small to see.
