Self-described conservatives calling this movement (the minutemen) racists and bascially apologizing for the illegals; a so-called conservative president calls them vigilantes and wants to allow the illegals to stay and work here; all the while a self-avowed socialist is against the illegals and those who employ them...

Maybe Hillary can get that whole National Socialist thing working for her, for the elections in 2008.
1) Do not look directly into her eyes.
2) Begin and end every sentence with her with courtesy and reverence. Punctuate everything with "Senator", "Ma'am", "whatever you want", "Whenever you want it", and "Yes, I didn't need my soul anyhow, Ma'am."

This might be just what the doctor ordered to get the cowardly Repulicans off of their asses before Hillary takes the illegal immigration issue away from them and uses it to win the whitehouse(god forbid).
Brilliant move. It would make the GOP and its head executive get off center and do something about our borders. The public is getting sick and tired of the spineless, self-serving GOP leadership.
Maybe they think the illegals will take Hillary back to Mexico with them. Worth the risk, I'd say.

If inviting Hillary and allowing her to make it a main platform for her election, so be it. She has done more to raise the issue than anyone else, except Tancrado and Sensenbrenner.

Actually, that isn't true in parts of Brooklyn anymore. They don't have to stand on street corners. They can go to Ceasar's Bay where there is a big tent waiting for them so they can hang out there. For some reason, even though this was a major deal when they put it there, it has escaped the notice of INS.

This is brilliant. It puts BOTH sides on the burner---Hillary would have to put up or shut up on immigration, and the GOP would have to move to the right to distance itself from Hillary.
