Good morning TC.....
Well Monday begins the beginning of the end of the cancer for you! We've said all along you'll whip this stuff...you will!! And it's the 15th! Lot happens on the 15th......
You first met Logan on the 15th
You left SA for CA on the 15th
Of course, different months, but the 15th no less.
Get lots of rest, eat a bunch and know that you have our love and prayers. Hug Faith for us... We love y'all.

I am sorry I didn't respond last night....this grandma was tired..and went to bed...
Kailey's mother does adjust her insulin, Kailey doesn't draw the insulin yet or know how to figure...but she definitely knows the difference between the "clear" and "cloudy"...because she "instructs" me whenever it is time for her shot!
The doctors said she is coming out of her "honeymoon" phase, and so this is when a lot of adjustments will be made. And of course, like you said---with school starting, her physical activity changes--her eating schedule changes and everything.
Whenever you have advice for me...please post it, because it is very helpful and reassuring. (I tend to panic when her sugar seesaws to extremes)...
Have a good weekend...I am off to her party!!!

Logan... TC ping
DL I want you to see the cute picture of this kitty SheLion posted!
Which one was that? I lost it....
Prayers always -
I knew you would want to know the latest, and were kind enough to include me on several pings...although I check often, it is easy to overlook The Latest Word.
How can it be your daughter is in COLLEGE already?!!
The years race by with gathering speed, believe me.
My older granddaughter graduates in December from the University of South Carolina with a degree in biology.
Age, however, is a state of mind, and I still am in the process of growing up..:))
My daughter is actually beginning her second year of college - hard to believe I know - We got caught in a horrible thunderstorm last night and for the first time ever, my car flooded out and we were literally stranded in the middle of the road - it took over an hour and a half for a tow truck to work us into his busy night. It was a very scary feeling being all alone in a city where you don't know a soul and seeing Mother Nature at her worst. My poor husband is working out of State so he was trying to help us via cell phone - distressing night for us all.
Loved seeing you with Logan again! Hope you can start gaining weight after this treatment or he is gonna be bigger'n you!!
TC, I'm so glad I saw your post! Gonna have to get on a ping list again (psst...psst...BG :~) ).
I was thinking as I read what you said about you and Faith, how fortunate you both are to have each other. I knew she was beautiful on the inside from your posts about her. Saw the pics from Logan's visit...she is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside - just like her daddy! Y'all are an inspiration to us because of your courage and faith...we love you, and we're fervently praying for good results from all meds and treatments. God surround you both with just the blessings you need at just the time you need them, and comfort, strengthen and heal you - body, mind, and spirit.
LOL! It was that cute little kitty you posted in post 85!
HI Cowboy...
Been thinking about you all day. We're so happy to hear you've now gained back a total of 7 lbs! Looking good :)
Our prayers continue for you and for Faith.
Hugs (big 'uns!)

Here it is, the Thursday after that Monday...
All "The Usual Suspects" - your hundreds of followers - await news of the outcome, or to know if there has been a delay because of the lung fluid.
Conscious of the fact your computer time is minimal, based upon your physical therapy, appointments, Faith's condition/activities, and just trying to rest and gather strength, I think we tend to at times slow down on posting to give you a break..:))
Fact is, most of us lift you up every single day/night, TC, praising and thanking God Almighty for listening and bringing you along each step of The Trail.
We ask Him to level the higher hills before you - eliminate the quicksand pits - scatter the rattlesnakes - blow away the pesky tumbleweeds - and in general, increase your strength and give you peace of mind through your faith that will see you through all the valleys...
I know well your heart for Him, and savor our many discussions about His Word.
Even when flat on your back unable to move, you still walk because of and with Him!
Our Marine Corps spirit and training equips us to approach the edge of any cliff looming before us, and keep marching on in step to HIS cadence call - - knowing to go over the edge is not free fall downward; but a soaring of body, mind and spirit...
Our eyes are always upon the three crosses
and the incredible Gift He gave us.
Always here at your back, TC...always will be...
Cambio, dear friend,

I spoke to our Cowboy on Tuesday evening and he sounded good - he did mention the fluid in his lungs but was on an antibiotic for that. He was in good spirits and laughed a lot, which made me smile more than I have in a long while.
Boy have I been away from this thread too long! Last I read you'd just arrived in SoCal to have that achy hip overhauled. Today I come back to see how it went and find out your engaged in hand-to-hand combat with Mr. "C".
Well, I'll allow he's a scrapper, sure enough, and he'll fight dirty if you take your eye off him, but what he doesn't know is that this is a "tag-team" match and your "partner" has skunked him every time out. Yeah, you know -- your Partner? Lion of Judah? King of Kings? Lord of Lords? Yes, THAT Partner. Reigning Champion. Undefeated.
So, while this may be a fight, from what I can see, you've got a strong, dedicated coalition with superior firepower, superior troop strength, you hold the high ground, you have overwhelming air support, excellent supply lines, and morale is high. And THAT sounds alot like -- VICTORY.
I, along with everyone else around here, will keep praying and you keep mending.
You have the faith; just walk it out.
In him,
HKMk23
Amen and amen.
Thanks for the update. Please keep us posted.
I am so sorry I didn't write to update Tuesday night - I know we all wait for news and I should have let you all know asap - no excuses - I won't let it happen again.
