Prayers for TexasCowboy!
TexasCowboy has been using his hip injury as an excuse to prevent his friends from shooting his new riot gun.
Well some of us offered to take a look at it for him and he decided both a proffesional and sober opinion might make more sense.
So he found a coupon and now he is going to let some old saw-bones cut on him.
Probably a better idea than letting us do it, but a few folks feelings are still hurt!
Please all say a prayer for our Cowboy that he is back in the saddle again real soon.
bttt and prayers for a good outcome today.
Thanks for the *ping*, Lady.
I have been wondering what TC was doing now...I see that he had tests today..and maybe given a treatment plan?
I hope you will let me know when you find out the results from today...okay?
TC--I know you are probably exhausted from all of the tests and such...but it is a step..and right now, just one step at a time is all that is necessary. God is walking with you, and holding your hand, and I dare say, wouldn't mind if you leaned on Him a little nowadays, as you take these steps to recovery.
Prayers up, Cowboy from Texas, to you and yours..

I've got the air cover. In your minds eye, envision the medicine as acting like one these, but for scaled for cancer cells:
Stay the course, El Roy. Godspeed to you and Faith.
Never you mind about keeping up with us ... we're here keeping the candle lit for YOU.
PRAYERS AND HUGS !!!
Yes - we shall carry the lit torch high for him
with our support team effort - 24/7.
Celebrating that today is the beginning of his chemo course.....
Lord, may it be succesful in routing out all the evil "C" cells.....
Amen.
Yes Amen
We can indeed visualize those nasty little devils,
and direct the strike teams right on them....
Good night, everyone....
Thanks TT for the update.
TC you are still in my prayers.
Thank you. Later I thought something like this might have been a better, or at least more familiar image.
However, I happen to know one of the best ways to crank up TC's ability to keep going forward and fight the good fight is to flash a picture of This Man in front of him [or me]..:))
The majority of Logan's trip info will be on his thread, but here's the update on TC..... and some very special pictures!
We arrived at the house Saturday morning and when we walked in the door, TC was STANDING.......I repeat......STANDING waiting for his hugs!! It was wonderful to see him back on his feet with that famous smile on his face. His eyes were dancing and you could feel the chuckle in his heart!!
Logan remembered him and immediately they exchanged those "glances" that seem to say, "We share a secret"....... and then the baby proceeded to show TC all of his tricks that he's learned in the last 2 1/2 months since they had been together. It was unbelievable! Logan acted like TC has been gone only a day or two and of course TC enjoyed watching Logan run and play and act like "Logan".
TC had a great day on Saturday. He felt good, and due to some medicine that he's taking, he had his appetite back, so he is picking up a little weight again.
We visited again for a bit later in the day and then again on Sunday morning when we met them for breakfast. Sunday wasn't as good a day for him, or for his precious Faith. But we were told that that's the way it goes. One good one and one bad one.
Somehow the date of the tests got confused and so it's next Monday, the 15th, that they will start them. He will NOT be admitted for them, and when he starts the treatment, he won't be in the hospital for them. He will be on the drugs for 6 weeks before they run any more tests to see what the treatment is doing.
When we left to drive back to LA on Sunday, it was so hard telling him "we'd see him later"... never goodbye. We just don't believe it's goodbye. We went to cheer him up and let him know how much we love him, and instead, it was TC that gave us a happy. Words cannot express how good it was to see him being able to use crutches to get around, to stand, and to get in and out of the car without being in terrible pain. Prayers, prayers, prayers..... they are being answered. Thank You God!
TC asked me to post for him. It's hard for him to sit and post and to put into words his feelings right now. His concentration is solely on beating this cancer. He did ask that all of you be thanked for your concern and for your prayers. He feels without them, he wouldn't be where he is today.
Please continue to pray for him, and for Faith. She's fighting a mighty battle also right now and needs prayers also.
We are so lucky to have this man as our friend. And we'll see him again ....... as soon as he's able. In the meantime, we'll all be here supporting him, praying for him, and for Faith, and waiting for the good news that's going to come in the future.

Oh thank you for the update on El Roy. How wonderful to see pictures of him and see him with the baby. Please tell him how much he means to me and to my hubby Chads (Tom). We will continue to remember him in our prayers.
