Why do these pledge periods have to take so long? For a measly $66,000, I would think the pledge period would only last about a week. If everyone who used this cite for longer, in a year, than they do reading a magazine subsciption, pledged the price of a magazine subscription, I believe the pledge amount would be met in about two days. I certainly hope the day never comes when I have to see "Cialis" ads blinking on the right side of the FR page so they can pay for bandwidth!

don't know why ALL freepers are gone I am saying I know a couple that were banned because they have my private email not FREEPMAIL and told me when I clicked on there screename it says in BLUE this account has been banned or suspended

Believe me, it happened on both sides whether one is pro-death or pro-life. I know why, but I better not say : )

Not condoning the name calling from both sides of the Terri S. debate but I can think of a helluva lot more important and urgent matters one might get upset over than being called a name on an Internet site.
I can only wonder how those who were 'offended' get along when a real crisis pops up in their lives.

I think there is something to it. My fear is that a few were also turned off by the George Bush Cheerleading Squad. I do, however, think this is a very valuable forum.
