We've been invaded around these parts. Swarms of Painted Lady butterflies are fluttering all over the place.

They're camera shy cuz everytime I get close, they fly away. Nonetheless, they are helping pollinate our orange blossoms.

How pretty! Send a few down our way. I have seen none around these parts. I did notice lots of nondescript moths flying around this morning, but no pretty butterflies yet. Once our lantana starts blooming it will attract swarms (flocks? herds? bevies? LOL) of butterflies.

Thanks to you fine folks for the further greetings and good words. Rus, It is a shame that wonderful group does not have the cohesiveness.

For everyone who doesn't know.. over a year ago Rus tried VERY HARD to get a group going in Buffalo area. I invited myself along because I frequent the coastal areas West of Buffalo (for decades) with family there. they were a fascinating group & I do believe want to participate.

It seems everyone is so busy with kids; work etc. I as a guest there with them thought that group would catch on fire & take off in activistm. Apparently that has not happened.

oh... you are too funny... oh the shirt that Billie has on the post???? YOU have it??? :)

Trip is looking tenuous at this point. I had two ride potentials (all three of us were going together). Both now have work conflicts (one is Coast Guard & in charge of Cleveland Homeland security & the other has just started a new job)... since my identity theft last winter I have NOT been able to finance the repairs I need on my van (major transmission problems)...

so unless I can find someone quickly -- not looking good. I have pinged our NE Ohio list.. and talked to several. I am very disappointed..
