Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.
I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.
HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.
Thanks, FV
Here we go again folks! Where is the law in this one?
will do tomorrow morning first thing!!!! Thanks for the info.

First they kill innocent babies, and now the elderly and the disabled.
I don't even know my country any more.
Also, PLEASE take advantage of this toll-free number to tell your U.S. Senator to vote to end the filibuster of judicial nominees. It's only valid on April 6th and 7th, 2005.
The Republicans have never filibustered a judicial nominee. The Dems have started a dangerous precedent.

Here's our chance folks, to stop activist judges from being appointed by a possible future LIBERAL president. PLEASE CALL!!
question......have any of you been suffering with depression this last week? Just curious. I have had some real down days since Terri died. Really REALLY down. I am figuring it is because of her horrendous death, but just wondered if anyone else is feeling depressed and weepy all the time......
I can understand how you feel, pollywog.
I cried and prayed and cried and pray. Had some R&R.
NOW I am still praying BUT am in a "fight back" mode.
William Krystol said it exactly right!!!!!!
In the beginning he said he didn't understand what the controvercy was all about. That to keep Terri alive was a NO BRAINER!
We need better legislation on this, PRONTO!
I will be attending the March for Justice tomorrow and will be visiting my Senators. Is there any messages you would like me to pass along???????
Thanks FO. Will drop it off to the Senators tomorrow. Thank you for posting it!
no, but I have been ill.. flu like symptoms.. or more like walking pneumonia..
Photos from funeral Mass for Terri Schiavo, victim-soul
Thank you. So tragic and sad.....
I think the BEST think we can do for our country is to stop the filibustering. The Dems have started a dangerous precedent. The Republicans have NEVER filibustered a judicial nominee.
Thanx.
Speaking of which, I think I'll post this e-mail I received again:
The most important vote in Congress this session will be coming up soon. The Senate will vote to both abide by the Constitution and require a simple majority to end a filibuster, or to require 60 votes to end a filibuster as liberals desire.
Call your Senators today. Tell them you want them to vote to end a filibuster by a simple majority as the Constitution requires. Should the Senate fail to conform to the Constitution's rule of a simple majority, a minority of 40 liberal Senators can use the filibuster to force their agenda on every American. Get your friends to call.
The toll-free number is 1-866-808-0065.
Ask to speak with your Senator. When finished leaving your message, call your other Senator.
If the toll-free number (866-808-0065) is busy, please call your U.S. senator direct.
But please call.
OH I am sorry Awestruck. I hope you get to feeling better real soon.
Did you see the deceitful and lying commercial on the FILIBUSTERING on TV???? I saw it several times this week. Rush then discussed it on his program today. A woman caller suggested Republicans come up with a counter commercial. She is RIGHT. More of the kind of strategy we should be engaging in.
Does an employer who sells a product have a right to insist that employees sell the product on the employer's terms, as a condition of employment? I would tend to think so. On the other hand, if the owner of a pharmacy wanted to restrict the sale of certain products, I'd see no basis for denying that right. Would-be purchasers would then be free to shop somewhere else if so inclined.
I watch very little tv, and did not catch it on Rush.
I agree that the Republicans SHOULD come up with a counter commercial.
O'Reilly is for O'Reilly.
What a phoney.
If only Jeb Bush would fight evil the way this governor SUPPORTS evil.
Following Your Conscience
Eighteenth-century scientist and philosopher Emanuel
Swedenborg called the conscience "God's presence in man."
Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich (D) would prefer that
pharmacists in his state obey him rather than their
conscience. Last Friday, Gov. Blagojevich issued an
emergency rule requiring pharmacies to accept and fill
prescriptions for contraceptives "without delay" and
established a toll-free number for state residents to
report refusals.
This extraordinary action was taken after
a few pharmacists refused to fill prescriptions for the
"morning-after pill," the potential abortifacient.
Luckily, there are bipartisan bills in the U.S. Senate and
House (S.677 and H.R. 1445) that will protect pharmacists
who, because of personal beliefs, cannot in good conscience
fulfill certain prescriptions, while still allowing the
patient to get their requested drugs. Congress should pass
this commonsense legislation quickly before more people
like Gov. Blagojevich trample on citizens' religious
freedom.
