I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.

I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.

I saw the SWAT insignias some were wearing and the cops sure followed me, stopped me with sirens blaring, for a trivial reason, and even followed up after I left. They were serious. Also, I watched them trapping poor unsuspecting demonstrators and getting their cars towed for no good reason except to harass.

OMG re: vidoes.. that was the time when after May 26 in which they tried to bring that up that Michael was busted for preventing visitation in violation of court order but Greer when he ruled just attacked the Schindler's re: vidoes but didn't punish Michael for violation of court order.

Do they seriously think it's appropriate to not allow a family to take videos of their daughter. Do they it's appropriate for Greer to forbid any recording devices in Terri's room. Can't they realize or consider, that Greer/Felos/Schiavo were doing everything possible by FORBIDDING PHOTOS, RECORDING DEVICES AND VIDEOS, to keep the public AND the news media in the dark about Terri's true condition. Were they afraid that Terri's words may have been recorded on a tape recorder? Were they(Greer/Felos/Schiavo)afraid they would have to explain away Terri's speech as they did her movements and smiles on the videos? Yes, indeed, they were.
Dang, PC93. I think they've lost their stinking minds and have been given over to the darkside. Can't they think? Do they not realize that the truth isn't to be feared, but it's the darkness and secrecy that's the problem. How would they feel if their loved one had been confined as prisoner to one single room for 5 years with no electronic devices allowed. hmmmmmmm.. I'm sure their attitude would change real quick, unless they had a family member they wanted eliminated.
Hopefully Mark Furhman will be on the Hannity show this week and explain the other possible lie that Scott Schiavo told about Furhman not interviewing his stinking brother. When I heard him say that, I felt it wasn't the truth. Amdgmary had another report about Furhman and it wasn't what Scott Schiavo said. Felos was probably terrified to have a detective interview his worthless client. Can't say I blame him for not allowing it. Michael is like a puppet who can't speak unless his protector, Felos is right there with him.
I hope Furhman has had the opportunity to read the article on The Empire Journal, titled You Be the Judge - Was Terri Schindler Schiavo Strangled. Schiavo seems to have a real problem keeping his stories straight about what happened when Terri collasped.

Lawmaker Backs Federal Judiciary Watchdog

House Judiciary chairman James Sensenbrenner urged Congress on Monday to create a government watchdog for the federal judiciary, but he also said lawmakers should ignore conservative calls to weaken courts because of federal judges' decisions during the Terri Schiavo case.
The federal courts refused to order the reinsertion of Schiavo's feeding tube, and the brain-damaged Florida woman died March 31. That set off a firestorm of conservative criticism against the federal benches.
The House Judiciary Committee is looking into setting up an inspector general's office to work with the federal appeals and trial judges to see how they are handling the money Congress gives them, he said.

I had high hopes for Mark Furhman's book blowing this case. But his book is out in a few weeks, June 28th. How much new investigating could he have done?

Me too. I yelled at the tv so much, I really didn't hear what the slimeball had to say. I'd like to see a transcript. I did hear him attacking the Schindler's and bringing up the tapes -like that was some kind of indictment.
I kept yelling- "they were trying to save her life, and now she's dead, their daughter is dead, you two bit maggot scum bag low-life worthless POS miserable excuse for a human being! "
The only positive is that he seemed to be afraid of Mark Furhman. Good.
As a side note, I want to give a hypothetical situation regarding Terri's lab results- the drop in her Potassium levels after her "collapse". It may not have been caused by "an eating disorder".
This might happen because a person's airway was being obstructed for a period of time.
I have heard of cases where a person, say a person with pneumonia, can't cough hard enough to clear their airway, because of the build up of the flem, and that it gets thick.
So if this person loses consciousness, because their airway is still blocked for a couple of minutes more and CPR is begun which revives the patient and allows them to clear their airway - This person's lab results can show a drop in the Potassium level because they stopped breathing for a short time.
The drugs the EMT's administer can cause such a drop too. It can resolve itself quickly after Potassium is given.
How this might relate to Terri, is that her Potassium level could have dropped for the same reason-obstructed airway. The question then is- How/why did her airway become obstructed?
She did not have a heart attack, so what caused it?
