Terri Schiavo autopsy completed Her parents, husband planning separate funeral arrangements Saturday, April 2, 2005 Posted: 1540 GMT (2340 HKT) http://edition.cnn.com/2005/US/04/02/schiavo.ap
TAMPA, Florida (AP) -- The autopsy of Terri Schiavo has been completed, and the body is ready for release to her husband, who plans to cremate her remains and bury the ashes in an unspecified family plot.
Results from the autopsy, which was completed Friday, will not be released for several weeks, according to the medical examiner's office.
Michael Schiavo has said he hopes the autopsy will settle questions about his wife's medical condition, but experts differ on whether that will happen. He declined to comment Friday.
Terri Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, and Michael Schiavo spent Friday planning separate funerals for the 41-year-old woman, who died Thursday -- nearly two weeks after her feeding tube was removed
Michael Schiavo's family has said he plans to take the cremated remains to Pennsylvania, where Terri Schiavo grew up, but her parents and siblings had wanted to bury her body in Florida so they can visit her grave.
David Gibbs, the Schindlers' attorney, said there have been no further discussions between the two parties about the remains. The Schindlers do not plan to press the issue in court, he said.
"The court has already determined that (Michael Schiavo) will control the burial decisions," Gibbs said.
Michael Schiavo's brother, Scott Schiavo, had said Thursday that the Schindlers might not be informed of the burial location near Philadelphia because his family did not want to turn it into a media spectacle.
However, Michael Schiavo has been ordered by the court to disclose the location of the burial site to the family and inform them of any memorial service he plans.

I've been trying to find out Pennsylvania law regarding the handling of human remains.
The only thing I have figured out so far is that if MS does indeed plan to inter her ashes in any cemetary in the state it would be in public records.
They might have to check every cemetary as I don't know if there is one central agency.
Pinellas County Medical Examiner:
" You got me, longtermmemmory. We will be very precise, however, even if not accurate.
I simply used Terri's official Pinellas County Autopsy report
which Judge Greer gave me two weeks ago
as he was defying the Executive and Legislative branches.
I simply used his many sections, over and over. Very precise.
Everything was normal. Honest. [wink]"
Here you go.
:-)
BREAK.
I don't remember her parents holding up any signs during this ordeal. I do remember her sister Suzanne making a public appeal for privacy during this time (after informed of Terri's death).
Now, there certainly could be protesters who show up, but her parents really have no control over if they do, be they pro-Michael or pro-Shindler. It's a free country after all....
"I think a serious look at "PVS" and the role the sheeple have abrogated to clinicians in defining and assessing it, deserves its own thread."
I concur
There's no way to know with any certainty that what gets buried is actually her ashes.
Right there, for all the world to see, another example of this demented, lying human.
Pinellas county, Florida subhuman murderer uncertified Judgenfuhrer Greer:
"First, some people are just born victims.
Second, I am exempt from ALL rules and law.
I did not even take the oath of office.
The US Constitution - I ignored it.
18 USC Section 1505 - I ignored it.
Title 2 of the US code - I ignored it.
Florida Statute 765.309 which prevents mercy killing and assisted suicide - I ignored it.
Florida Statute 744.3215 which requires that incapacitated people cannot be deprived of food and water - I ignored it.
Florida Statute 765.404, which says that clear and convincing evidence of the ward's intent for medical treatment must be established - I ignored it..
I conspired to murder Terri to celebrate Holocaust Remembrance Month.
So what are you --and the gonadless pussies in Congress-- dare gonna do about it?"
Judge Greer's crimes to Murder Terri
Law conveniently changed by Hospice where Terri was Judicially murdered
Actually, his reputation is already set.
I agree with you, but those who don't want to talk matters of conscious and heart will tell you it's perfectly legal and let it rest on that.
Just like the Taliban was perfectly legal when it beat women for walking to loudly..or shot them in the head for some other crime determined by the men in the society. It's all legal...we should be so happy (sarc).
There's no way to know with any certainty that what gets buried is actually her ashes.
This 'order' by Greer will be of little help to Terri's family. He could (and probably will) spread her ashes in some fireplace or side of the road. No one will know what he does with them and the court will simply not care. Sad.
How could the court do this? I thought Michael had been given chattel rights over Terri?
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
When you die
I'll sit over your grave
And laugh 'til I bust.
I never though it was very funny. This case triggered that long-forgotten memory.
MS has said Terri will be buried near his deceased family members
One could find that information through church records
However, with that said .. it doesn't mean for sure that MS would honor his word .. he could still have her buried in a different cemetery
Ok I have this question...The other day on some show, Greta maybe, MS brother Scott was interviewed. He was sitting next to a large woman dressed in red...ANyways, she talking about having been Terri's nurse once. Then at the end I read on the screen that they were husband and wife. Now isn't that odd? Does anyone know details? Scott and his wife.
I agree with you about spewing venom. But, the problem is we have TOO MUCH knowledge of most facts. It is a problem because both sides dispute the truth of those facts.
Greer is probably feeling the heat from public opinion outrage over his order to legally murder Terri.
I didn't see the interview so I can't really comment on who the women in red was
However, I do recall reading that MS has a sister inlaw that is a nurse .. that she encouraged him to attend nursing school in a way to help Terry with her care
Not sure how true that really is .. just that I read it a while back
