Senate to Vote on Religious Liberty Protection Act S.2081 Why do we not educate our children in all the philosophies instead of indoctrinating then to one? We should have the right of conscience; to say what we choose to say, or write what we choose to write, or read what we choose to read , or pray what we choose to pray, any place we choose to do it, even in government run schools. What has happened to freedom and liberty in our classrooms and Country? The socialist left has diminished liberty by banning and trying to ban what some might find offensive, and denying people freedom of speech and freedom of press, to enforce their political correctness, when a Right should protect and/or expand liberty and freedom.

Why do we not educate our children in all the philosophies instead of indoctrinating then to one? We should have the right of conscience; to say what we choose to say, or write what we choose to write, or read what we choose to read , or pray what we choose to pray, any place we choose to do it, even in government run schools. What has happened to freedom and liberty in our classrooms and Country? The socialist left has diminished liberty by banning and trying to ban what some might find offensive, and denying people freedom of speech and freedom of press, to enforce their political correctness, when the definition of a Right should protect and/or expand liberty and freedom not diminish it. The socialist left’s tolerance is a lie, especially with their political correctness, and their intolerance of anything religious, in our government run schools and classrooms. They would ban what minority group might find offensive and then call that being sensitive, when it is really just an intolerant way to ban what they do not like, and do not want to here. This is all about power, control and authority over our children, so they can indoctrinate them, not educates them, into only their way of thinking on ethics and political philosophy. The socialist left with the help of ACLU, want to teach only secular humanism, moral relativism, situational ethics and other socialist values in our schools, classrooms and Universities. They no longer teach the philosophy and values of individualism, individual liberty, and individual and equal Rights, and individual and equal Laws, of the 18th-Century Age of Enlightenment and the Judeo-Christian values that this country was founded upon. To teach only one philosophy and set of values is to indoctrinate into ignorance and intolerance. Anyone who wants to ban anything, including religious philosophies and God because they find it offensive, is practicing complete and total intolerance. We have to teach all philosophies, and values, whether it’s secular or religious, to educate and not indoctrinate. We have to teach all religious philosophies, not just one or none, to educate and not indoctrinate. The socialist left is taking any mention God and religion out of history, but to teach history without mention the effects of God or religion on our history is to teach lies, and falsehoods, not true history. Also the great literature and inspirational music of the world are greatly diminished by the intolerance of banning literature and music that mentions God, or have references of a religious nature, in our schools and libraries. Even if you believe in the separation of church and state, which is not in the Constitution, it was never meant to apply to schools and classrooms because they are not part of the legislative, executive or judicial branches of government to which the separation of church and state would apply. We must teach all the secular and religious philosophies of our time and histories’, to educate and not indoctrinate our children so that they can freely choose what path they should follow. When our educational system keeps us ignorant of our choices, because they do not, or will not teach them, then we have no choice, and we are being indoctrinated and tyrannized. The course of true freedom is to teach all philosophies and religions, to give people freedom of choice, and only freedom can keep us from indoctrination of one side of the political spectrum or the other, and give us the freedom to choose our own way. We must preserve the right of conscience for every individual to be able to speak his or her mind, whether it is about God and religion or atheism, even in government run schools and buildings. What is freedom of speech and religion if it does not apply to everyone and everywhere, even in government run schools, classrooms and buildings? The definition of a Human Right should be to protect and/or expand the liberty, not to diminish it. We should be able to express our opinions and our beliefs wherever we so choose, to let freedom ring.

Welcome to Free Republic!

Paragraphs are your friend. :-) You just put a "<p>" at the end of each paragraph to break.

Example:
This is one sentence. After this one, I break the paragraph.<p>

Here's the next paragraph.

I would have liked to have read your reply #1, but the lack of paragraph breaks and subsequent lack of white space, was just to hard on my eyes. So I'm one reader that reluctantly chose to pass up reading what you had to say.

Please follow the paragraph instructions provided by TChris, so that those of us who are slightly visually impaired, dyslexic, brain crippled or down right lazy, may also be able to read what you have to say.

Thank you.
