RUSH: Folks, I gotta tell you something. I feel like taking a shower after I listen to this guy. This guy is like a cult leader. This guy is no different than these people, than these cult leaders that get people to go die because they're going to go meet some mother ship 24 million miles away up in outer space. What was the name of that wacko group out in California? I can't remember the name of that group, but we have cult leaders. Jim Jones. They're all over the place, and this -- Heaven's Gate! This guy just comes off, when I hear this guy, I am more convinced than ever that my positions on this, all of our positions on this have been the right ones. When you know that he and so many other people involved in this sat at one time on the board of this hospice and steered Michael Schiavo to this guy. This guy wrote a book. You know he just said? He just got a question from the press -- George Felos, I'm talking about, this lawyer -- he just got a question. The first question the press asked, "You say she died with dignity. How can you say she died with dignity when she was starved to death for two weeks?" and you know what he said? He said, "You don't understand this. She didn't starve from removing the tube. She didn't starve." That's what he said: "She didn't starve." Folks, what in the world happened, then? She was starved. She was denied food and water! The first question this guy got was about how can you say she "died with dignity when she was starved to death for two weeks." "You don't understand," he said. "That is an inaccurate question. Let me explain to you. Let me finish, let me explain to you," and he went on to describe this is what she chose, and you can disagree with the evidence and all.
This guy wrote a book, 2002, Litigation: A Spiritual Practice. Here it is. This is just one excerpt from that book. "Felos describes himself as crusader for the right to die in Chapter 21. He also admits to enjoying his status as a news celebrity, describing it as exhilarating to see himself on TV. On page 217 he writes. 'I was getting pretty good at trying my case in the media and shaping public opinion, developing a good sound bite helped but so did the media's support of the cause. Some of my best quotes appeared on the editorial pages.'" Then there is this. "As Mrs. Browning lay motionless before my gaze I suddenly heard a loud, deep moan and scream and wondered if the nursing home personnel heard it and would respond to the unfortunate resident. In the next moment as this cry of pain and torment continued I realized it was Mrs. Browning. I felt the midsection of my body open; I noticed a strange quality of light in the room. I sensed her soul in agony. As she screamed, I heard her say in confusion, 'Why am I still here? Why am I here?' My soul touched hers and in some way I communicated that she was still locked in her body. I promised I would do everything in my power to gain the release of her soul. With that, the screaming immediately stopped. I felt like I was back in my head again. The room resumed its normal appearance and Mrs. Browning as she had throughout this experience lay silent." He thinks he communicated. His body opened up, his soul communicated to hers. When he assured her that he would get her soul out of her body, she lay quiet. This guy is a cult leader. Now, here's a guy that can communicate with people in persistent vegetative states, by his own admission, in his own book. He says he can communicate with them one soul to another, but the family, of course, couldn't communicate with her. She was in a persistent vegetative state. We're listening to a cult leader here, folks.
BREAK TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: So Felos says the family shouldn't have gone to court; the priest shouldn't have spoken out. Congress shouldn't have acted. The president shouldn't have acted. Governor Bush shouldn't have acted. The only person who should speak and bring suits and act is George Felos. He talks about the "angels of mercy" who were present. I hope they don't show up when I'm around.

(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)
bttt
You wonder why some people hate lawyers?
Felos and Dr. Kavorkian would make a great team...
Agree completely - Felos is one slimy type person (amazing how the MSM have hide who this man really is....simply acting like he is nothing more than a concerned lawyer for Mr. Schiavo.....yet he has a whole other agenda the MSM never talk about - But at every turn they would try and point out who was "pro life" for those that were on Terri's side.
It was disgusting.
I'll second that :(
Has anyone heard an interview with Felos' ex-wife? Has she been visible at all or is the press leaving her alone? Can you imagine being related to this nut?
Felos is beyond sick,evil,and depraved.
I find myself at a loss for words.
He was such a PIG. I was screaming at the T.V. and my children thought I was crazy but I was so flippin' mad at him talking about how Michael wanted Terri to die with dignity, blah, blah, blah. Why was that sorry bastard of a lawyer in there with her when she dies, but her own parents, brother and sister weren't? Why is he so special? God, spare me! GET OUT OF HER ROOM!!!! Creep!
After reading a few excerpts from Felos's book I came to the conclusion that there is only one suitable place for that man:
Locked up in a padded cell.
I heard Rush play it and it made me sick. Does this guy have bodyguards?
Yeah. I heard Fox News give a background on him, middle of this week. Seems ol Felos (Fetid Felos) -- had been randomely picked to represent a right-to-die- case in Fla., back in late 80's, early 90's, I forget -- and somehow he accidentally won and rose to local "stardom" as a right to die lawyer ad nauseum...
In the old days they were ambulance chasers...Now the specialise in "death matters"...AND conveniently sit in the boards of HOSPICE!..No more running after them ambulances..
Felos has 2 ex-wives; has a teenage son with 1st one, per an old St. Pete Times article on him. Would like to hear from either one or both. I hope someone will put together a cogent article exposing this man as the dangerous nutcase he is.
I'd like to "open up his midsection", alright. Felos is going to burn in Hell for all eternity, and that's my only solace in this.
Felos makes all other lawyers look good and that isn't saying much when many are real slimeballs. Any bets on how the MSM will play up his garbage? I think they will allow the spin to happen and on Friday we will hear how peaceful death by starvation was even though he believes it wasn't starvation somehow. Sick, sick, sick.
