I hope he pleads for mercy on this nation from the Almighty, in front of all America.
Because other than that, I just can't imagine what he's going to say that's going to help, or "enlighten" us.

Shame on Jeb too. You fell short. No guts, no glory. Not that you need glory but that's the expression

Wow....there's a lot of people I normally respect speaking from anger on this thread.
What a pity.

In our opinion, you speak when there is something you can do to lead, you be quiet when you have failed to lead.Yeah, Bush should have emulated Bill Clinton, and went in with armed goons in defiance of the courts!!!!
Be careful what you ask for. You might get it. Again and again and again. Bill Clinton set a precedent over Elian that should not be repeated by the executive at any level of government.

Agreed. As far as I can tell from over the pond, Jeb had the authority - maybe - to save Ms Schindler. I can't see that the President did. That's Federalism - and most of the time it works well.

Really. Man, what's wrong with these people?

Thanks for letting us know about this Meek. I wonder if it will broadcast on radio as well? I don't get many T.V. channels and don't have cable.

I wonder how he will justify the new court-mandated death penalties without a conviction for commission of a capital crime.

Reactionary losers? No if we were reactionary, we would have picked up weapons and used them. We are prayerful people who elected leaders who we thought did not readily use weapons, who used the Constitution as the law of the land, the same way we try to use the Bible. Their failure has consequences the same way our failure does.

Ditto. What I am thinking right now -how Michael and his ghoulish lawyer outpowered the Pres/Gov/Congress etc makes me boil. Nothing can be said now-she's gone and she died without her mother and father there to see her out because of that horrible Michael. I hope he gets his and soon!
