Even more, Auschwitz was in the Russian sector of war. Under no circumstances would Stalin had allowed such an action. I'm doubtful that any Allied aircraft would have had the range to hit Auschwitz, anyway.
I didn't know that! Why doesn't the world blame Stalin for not bombing the concentration camp train lines in their theater of war?

Not from England, but from bases in France or especially Italy, they probably could.
However Auschwitz was not the only death camp, just the most famous. Others were in Germany itself.
