It is pointless to be afraid, but good to be concerned. Why? ...because she is not going to get seriously dinged in the 2008 primaries but will likely face challengers who make her look even more moderate and stable; and because in 2008 we will have millions of 18- to 24-year-old voters who have no memory of her as the harridan of the East Wing and the nutty professor of HillaryCare.

she could be beat if they could just find her a purple helmet that didn't require batteries or electrical cord

Do you know that there is a monument in the Capitol rotunda of three women, with a fourth woman whose face has not been carved yet.
It's reserved, by statute, for the "first woman President of the United States".
Even, I suppose, if she's a monster.

The Clintons will be very, very hard to beat.
In fact, if we don't get our act together by 08, we may have to chafe for 8 years saying "President Clinton."
And how does Bill Clinton, Secretary of State sound?
Rice/Bush!

I wonder what the legal implications would be of FREEPERS daily taping a Shrillery pic there with a big red circle/slash across it.
Perhaps the one with the forked tongue sticking out.

Watching her and the puppet master controlled MSM prepaer the yellow black road for her . . .
I increasingly think that Condi may be our best and only real potential alternative.
I like Condi. But I'm not that happy with some of her globalist leanings either--espeically regarding Israel--which she should know better on. They just happen to be light years better than SHRILLERY'S rush to global tyranny.

I hear you! The calculated, disciplined 'morphing' into a red-state candidate has begun in earnest.

It is fun to speculate and spin the various scenarios around about the outcome should this or that occur...
But, I have to wonder, which states that voted for Bush in 2004 are going to switch and vote for Hillary in '08?
We always factor in the youth vote but the youth vote rarely materializes. And todays' youth, at least the ones that actually vote, aren't the dreamy eyed liberals of yore.
OTOH, the judicial appointees of the Clinton years could certainly make things interesting if the vote is close as it was in 2000...

Hard to beat?! I live in Upstate NY, and she won't even get many of the
Dems up here to vote for her again for the Senate, for pete's sake.
Let her run for prez. She's toast.

I see your generally non-voting 'millions of 18- to 24' and raise you 10 million sleeper, monster negative turnout voters. I am starting to see something deeply disturbing. Hitlery has seized on the Illegal Immigration issue. If she becomes a Tancredo, that could turn the tide in her favor, big time.
She may be evil, but she is canny. It amazes me no other national figure (other than Tancredo) has grabbed this issue and run with it.

I just wanna know where all you people are who vehemently stipulated she would run in '04!
...And that was after Kerry got the nod and yous guys still thought she was gonna ride in and save the day!
She's a loser...but I will not ignor the media's ability to prop her up.
