I’ve prayed often today about this deplorable situation and I’m grieved tonight that Terri’s family has been given hope so often only to have those hopes dashed. I do believe many in our country have agonized watching this family’s terrible sorrow unfold this way. I just couldn’t bring myself to even watch the news today or come here because the pain has been so difficult. So I’m reading now to see how everyone here is handling this and to share similar sorrows.

I’ve felt the same way about Terri, her parents, her brother and sister.
Phil Dragoo, I love that picture you put up showing Terri with the beautiful sky behind her face – with the scripture: “As for me, Thou upholdest me in thine integrity and settest me before Thy face forever.”
This is the reason I stay off the other threads. I cannot take the attitude some of our fellow FReepers have, regarding Terri's murder. It is murder. It is not kind, peaceful, or painless. I don't know what the hell their problem is. Maybe I wouldn't want to be handicapped, but I sure as hell know I wouldn't want to be starved to death, either!!!
As for referring to the origins of the holocaust, remember, "those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it." Yell it loud and strong, because we are seeing the beginnings of 1933 all over again. Margaret Sanger's hoofprints are there, also.
I pointed out that Terri's brother lived in the same complex and he adminstered CPR while Schaivo just sat on the couch. She said everyone knew that. So I asked, if Terri was in a car wreck, where was Schiavo? How'd Terri get face down on the floor? I kept getting the response that she lives there and read the story when it happened and I didn't. It was an extraordinary conversation. And everyone that she knows believes the same thing that she does.
It seems that the Christians who see "clearly" about this case have had something happen in their lives which reveals the capacity for evil in other people. For some it may have been a very bad marriage and subsequent divorce (my case), for others abusive parents, betrayal by a co-worker or trusted friend, church scandals, etc. I would venture to guess that just about everyone who sees the injustice of Terri's situation has had something happen to them to make them more sensitive to others. Most of the people who defend Michael start out by saying, "Well, I had to ..." It's always about them and what they had to do. With those of us who are fighting for Terri, it's about what happened to us and what we're trying to prevent from happening to others. The things that have happened to us give us the ability to be empathetic, while those who have done wrong want to justify their actions.
I know for the first time in 12 years, I just today thanked the Lord for my divorce, because it has made me understand Terri's situation in a personal way - so that I can pray for her - and for Michael, that he would repent before it's too late. I can very well understand the evil and hatred that Michael has for her and her family - because they are good and righteous. Those who are evil hate those who strive to be righteous. A lot of times people just don't want to face the fact that people can really be that wicked. If they did, they'd have to look in the mirror and see themselves, too. One just can't face the wickedness without knowing that Jesus has saved us.
tonight was the judiciary's last chance to redeem itself.

I just watched this and heard Father Pavone say (I'm paraphrasing) that if he talked to Judge Greer, he would not have any trouble calling him what his is - a murderer.

Yesterday I heard Jesse Jackson was trying to convince 3 Democrats to vote for Terri.
What happened? I haven't seen anything on the news about this at all. Was Jesse Jackson in Florida again today?

Liberals have an amazing ability to rationalize their world view. During the Rathergate hoax, I remember a liberal suggesting that maybe the CBS documents were modern reprints of a computer file Killian had typed.
I suppose it's technologically possible that Killian could have found a teletype and punched a tape of his documents, but I really can't think why he would do that. Or why anyone would dig up an ASR33 or similar device to read the things into a modern computer.
Have you all seen this incredible tape of Terri opening her eyes for the dr. - he keeps saying "open you eyes{ - so she finally arches her eyebrows high and her eyes wide as if to say: "Hey, how about THIS!"
It will make you laugh and then cry - SHE IS THERE - she needs therapy...THIS IS A MUST - must get it our everyone. I've sent it to all the FOX addresses, Rush, Hannity ets - but they have to get slammed with this to pay attention, so it doesn't get lost.

Well, we see that another florida judge would not listen to the protests of a family and caused the death of a couple; and their 5 year old had to see them laying in a pool of blood!
Florida....the worst place in the world. If you live there: Get out! If your parents live there: get them out! Arizona is a much better place.
