Thumbs Down: Roger Ebert Helps A Terrorist March 26, 2005 By Debbie Schlussel
Normally, it would be unfair to attack Roger Ebert for his addiction to food.
Normally, it would be in poor taste to hold the calorically-gifted film-critics insatiable taste-buds against him.
Normally.
But now, Roger Eberts irresistible yen for a sandwich is literally his excuse to defend an Islamic terrorist, Ibrahim Parlak.
Parlak, who is under deportation orders, owns a restaurant in Harbert, Michigana restaurant Ebert frequents, with apparently great appetite.
In a letter to the U.S. government opposing Parlaks deportation, Ebert wrote, [H]e offered to come to my home and prepare special foods for me.
But haute cuisine for liberal movie critics is no justification for Ibrahim Parlak to remain in the United States.
Parlak is a terrorist and a murdererfacts that celluloid simp Ebert conveniently ignores. While he might make a mean tossed salad (just like Hillary Clinton), Parlak also makes a mean tossed hand grenade.

She has a good point... but alas, it's ruined with her childish name-calling. That's usually reserved for Libeals.
Or, we can act like mature people and say, "Ebert who?"
If he doesn't accept the evidence against Parlak, he's not guilty of anything except liking the food there.
I doubt Ebert is supporting terrorism, though to someone on the outside it does appear that way.
So stupid is as stupid does, and stupid does as stupid is, and stupid is Ebert.
Since I never watch his show, I'm not one of the many who contribute to his treasonous taste for food. /sarcasm
Which brings up the point that anyone who knowingly watches Mr. Ebert's show is supporting him to support a terrorist. And where then does the stupidity end?
For me, the buck stops at my remote's "Next channel" button, and I can with a clear conscience say that I'm not supporting a terrorist supporting gourmet-maniac.
Can you say the same?

Any Muslim who had anything to do with raising money for militant organizations or actually train on fire arm in terrorist camps should be deported from the US, and all Western countries. No ifs or buts! The INS must be retarded to even think twice about such decision.
Critics are worthless waste of space.
Leonard Bernstein said it best: "I've been all around the world and never seen a statue of a critic".
We need to start issuing loyalty tests again.
Its time for these terrorist enablers and supporters of sedition to PAY for their giving aid and comfort to the enemy!
Give them time and the cheese-eating surrender monkeys will erect one to honor Chirac.
What name-calling? He brought up the food part. He opened the door. Using a taste for someone's food as a reason to allow a terrorist to stay here is the most absurd thing I've ever heard. All bets are off when this ludicrous movie critic uses his taste for food as a reason to obviate our national security.
I propose we tie people to chairs and toss them in lakes.
If they float, they're obviously full of hot air and must be liberals.
If they sink and drown, they must be conservatives, and therefore they'll go straight to heaven.
My, my... what a twisted web we weave.
Here's a solution: Ebert can be deported along with the terrorist scum. He can have all the special food he wants in a Middle Eastern torture chamber. I expect such an infidel to be locked up, as Ebert is clearly in favor of perverse Western culture.
Ebert loved F-911. Gave it two commie thumbs up.
Liberals are a danger to this nation. How in goodness name can someone mortgage the future of his country for the sake of a SANDWICH! That is just amazing! Absolutely amazing. Goodness, even if the food is nice there must be a dozen dozen other restaurants that offer good food as well! Geez.
He just gave it one thumb up. His buddy Roeper gave it the other.
What name did she call him?
He hated Team America too.
Whatever you say....I find *today's* critics are nothing more than jealous individuals who could never create or comprehend that which they criticize. I guess if you want to read someone's interpretation of a painting rather than see it for yourself, read their description of a certain piece of music rather than hear it for yourself, etc...be my guest.
As stated before, Leonard Bernstein said it best: I've been all around the world and never seen a statue of a critic.
