After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
I also email the Lt Gov Pat Quinn about legislation. I have talked to my State Senator office about this too. I think I will call Hastart's office to look into links between the hospice industry and the Hemlock society.
Mel Gibson on Hannity now. Anybody listening?
I'm listening.
Thanks Bronx. Much appreciated.
Reading in the book of Daniel. Belshezzar hadn't learned from Nebuchadnezzars's fate. He drank from the the gold and silver cups Nebuch. took from Jerusalem and made toasts and gave honor to the idols. He reaped the consequences of his pride and arrogance...
Mene Mene Tekel Parsin.
Mel is MAD...can you hear it in his voice?
You have been weighed in the balance and have been found wanting.
He just made a GREAT point about what they did to Judge Moore- but let greer alone...
"HANDS OFF GREER" seems to be the mantra....
NOT FOR ME!
A delay here. They have the commercial break on but promise Mel next.
Mel is awesome.
Amen, nicmarlo. God is still on His throne. I'm so thankful that we can know that without a doubt and can trust Him.
I'm not all that religious these days, but being here has been an uplifting experience. I'm not going to give up, either. I'm going to trust in God and His plan. I have to say that right now I'm very discouraged with the court ruling :(
It scares me too, JFC.
That's good to hear...and don't worry, no one here is religious. God isn't a religion...He's a person. ;-)
Yes. He's seems a bit lost for words. Says comments about this are beyond expression.
There are bigger things for you to be scared of.
You will.
Amen.
:-)
