After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
Lord, I continue to lift my prayer up to you today, this hour. Please keep Terri's organs healthy and strong, feed her, water her, from above and keep the vultures from killing her. Please do not let her be in pain, Most High. In Jesus name.

Yes, I knew Jay Sekulow did the appeal with David Gibbs. They worked on the wording together and hopefully it will make sense to the 11th and realize a De Novo has to be done for Terri.
I have to believe that the Lord is keeping her body free from the effects of dehydration.

Until now, I have been against discontinuing the feedings on principle. Those 2 clips made what Terri is going through very real and very, very horrid.
These 2 clips, IMHO, are enough to raise more than a reasonable doubt about the diagnosis of PVS.
And this is my question...in normal circumstances where there is no possible hidden agenda by the power players, would this be enough to get an emergency stay or injuction? (Not sure of the proper term).
I do not understand. The totality of what I have seen and read, including her discharge summary from the hospital, casts doubts on the diagnosis. Why would Judge Greer ignore it? Is he so corrupt that he would allow someone to die for contributions? Is he ignorant of the medical ramifications of those tests? How impaired is Judge Greer's vision? Macular degeneration? Did he not watch the videos because he could not see them or did he pretend to watch them, could not see the detail in them and relied on felos' interpretation.
THAT'S THE POINT. WE ARE CRYING OUT FOR OUR GOVERNMENT TO ABIDE BY THE US CONSTITUTION. IF IT WASN'T PUBLIC, it would be a private matter again, a cold blooded murder in progress by the State of Fla.
Terri Schiavo's survival would most likely require renal dialysis at this point due to kidney failure and buildup of toxins in her blood. Simple hydration via any route would probably not be enough to reverse the damage incurred.

I don't believe the executive branch rescue of Terri would be extralegal in any respect. The executive branch has a DUTY to uphold the Constitutional RIGHTS of it's citizens. Thus, the EXECUTIVE BRANCH has a duty in this EXTRAORDINARY circumstance of life and death and CRUEL and UNUSUAL punishment suffered by Terri to protect her rights, (and those of her family), by removing Terri from the clutches of those who would deny them.
Acting exceptionally in this exceptional situation would not harm the RULE of LAW even a little. ALLOWING the INJUSTICE FORCED upon Terri to STAND will establish HORRIBLE precedent, the consequences of which we cannot begin to fathom.

Instead of signaling a defeatist attitude, you would think he would keep his mouth shut until after they rule on it.

We continue to seek the work of the Holy Spirit in their hearts and minds and actions, even as we continue to raise the Name of Jesus above all others. May this day bring a Shout of Victory that tears our beloved Terri from the grasp of the Merchants of Death and sees her safely in the arms of her family. Not posting much, just praying, but still here.
I was reminded this morning of the Christians gathered to pray for Peter when he was jailed. When the angel released him and he wound up at the Christians' door, the girl who answered the door was so shocked that their prayer was answered that she slammed the door on him, leaving him outside, and ran to tell the disciples praying inside! Their response to her? YOU'RE CRAZY!!! Even after they'd been praying! They were praying hard but never expected their prayer to be answered.
Well, we're praying hard and we DO expect our prayer to be answered. We won't be quite as shocked, will we?
That having been said, we are also praying for the Lord's will, whatever he decides. But I find it hard to believe He's brought her this far without a purpose.
