After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
What was it he said? Man, the ghouls are on the go.
You are absolutely right on target, Sun!!!
Keep spreading the word. I'm still going to fight for Terri on every front. I have NOT given up!!
Terri is still alive. That precious sweetheart has a huge will to live and I can't rest until she is rescued.
That could be anyone of us lying in that HOSPICE DEATH CAMP.
Our family could be in the same anguish, torment and pain, that Terri's family is in. We can't stop fighting for her.
Are you saying that Jeb Bush made a statement of support for Michael? I really, really hope I misread what you said.
Right On, Justche~!!
If some can't be part of the solution, then they are the ***PROBLEM***~!!!
No, emotions are running high, we are all very upset over this, and I am sure I and others would enjoy getting to know you. There are many fine peope here, even cajungril ain't all that bad. You just caught her at a bad moment.
????????? He is supporting Michael??
Also another thread today posted that there was a movement to try to get the vatican to put Terri in some sort of diplomatic position...she'd then have diplomatic immunity.
Long shot, but people are still working on trying to save her. Although my heart hurts for her family and for her, I'm still hopeful that something will save her.
I'll try to find the quote.....he was saying he felt bad for the Schindlers, and for Michael.....
You are right emotions are running high..and at what other time would they run higher than when a mother is in fear for her children? I will stick around but I think I will just lurk for the rest of the evening and not post anymore. (Now if there is a big development don't quote me on that!!)
The Judge dis-regarded any and all evidence of abuse my Michael Schiavo. In order to get up to speed, here is a starting point -
http://www.theempirejournal.com
He didn't even call 911 nor did he do CPR on Terri. He called her dad first, then the dad called the brother. The dad told the husband to call 911. When brother arrived, Terri was still lying face down, while Michael Schiavo sat on the couch crying and acting like a lunatic.
My guess, is the HINO Schiavo, thought Terri was already dead and he didn't need to worry about her anymore. Imagine his surprise, when the paramedics revived her.
Hope this helps.
Jeez... has anybody done a more complete 180 that you can remember? This has to be some sort of record.
BUMP!

I'M reasonable?! LOL!
Well, I'm comparing you to me, who is a CAPS TYPING LUNE.
I get so upset, I leave out words and etc. Dang.. plus you know me ... I've even read your posts wrong.. lol
You know I thought that everybody who was critizing the Pres. and Gov. where looking at the wrong people but if this is true then I'm going to have to throw in the towel, in disgust.

At the end of the article....
NO, you did NOT make a mistake. There are more caring people on this thread and I think you realize that which is why you began posting. You have to develop a thick skin on this forum. I have been here for more than 4 years and in the beginning I was nice to everyone and never said anything that would get me flamed. Even in anonymity I didn't want people to think badly about me and give me a hard time.
Well, I am over that and personally don't care anymore. The truth is the truth. People will disagree at FR. The nasty ones post as they do (and no I'm not including cajungirl here) imo, because they like to fight and seem to relish getting us to quarrel. I can finally tell them how I feel.
But if someone disagrees and is not mean, but reasonable, we need to respect that, act with civility and agree to disagree.
My advice, sfi, mom, is to ignore the nasty posts. People trying to make trouble hate to be ignored. :)
Hang in there. You're initial instincts about people on THIS thread were correct.
I feel bad for Michael too.....It's going to be hot where he's going.
"I'm sad that she's in the situation that she's in," Jeb Bush said of Mrs Schiavo.
"I feel bad for her family, my heart goes out to the Schindlers and for that matter (Terri's husband) Michael, this has not been an easy thing for any member of the family, but most particularly for Terri Schaivo."

Jrabbit.....................I CAN'T BELIEVE MY EYES. I haven't had the t.v. on all day...and was quite surprised at what you said. I'm floored.
I'm "old". I proof read. :)
Yup I saw that on either ncc or fx. My jaw dropped. Something like "I feel sorry for M too". I have tried to stay out of the personal lives stuff and tay on public policy. I would not want my live examined by Freepers! But that did surprise me, I mean Jeb, it's M.S. that is directly responcible for this entire mess. I was thinking how I felt sorry for a failed govenor Jeb.
