After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
I agree that we should put them in our personal files. TEJ got hacked, and this probably got hacked, because I haven't seen it for awhile.

And Terri never HAD an auto accident.
But more important than putting it in our personal files, we have to get it to the media, and the good politicians, before it's to late to save Terri, and if she is lost, before her body is cremated. Michael said her body will be cremated IMMEDIATELY AFTER DEATH.
I'm sending the info out now. I hope others will join me.
I don't think sfimom has any inteniton of denying her children medical care but this is making her fearful to do so.

Yes you assumed correctly...I did sign up becasue of terri. I read on this board for three days before I signed up. I saw what wonderful caring people were here ( for the most part) and joined......maybe I made a mistake.

Most people I know who have a family member with a disability IS in fact worried about what this might mean further down the line.

I did not indicate that I 'ahd not' I indicated that I was afraid to pursue it in light of recent developments. I never said that I did not or won't. I expressed a ferar that is all.

I think I read her family disputes that...I think.
Soul Seeker gave me some good advise the other day on another thread. It's worthless to argue with some people. Some people are just looking for a way to cause you pain. I know it's difficult not to respond sometimes and I can't always stop myself but remember it's not you that's the problem, it's them.
Please, don't shoot the wounded. Pray for them. Even St. Peter had his time of doubt and fear.

You said disabled, that means ill to me. And you said you were afraid to take them to pursue a diagnosis or treatment. So I took that at face value. I believed your initial post.
I don't think there is general state sanctioned murder of autistic children. The government is doing what it can to provide schooling, mainstreaming, social security benefits for children with serious illness. The entire country including pediatricians are in an uproar over the epidemic of autism. People are working to see what can be done for your children. And they have you. I don't think they are at risk for having this happen to them. And I don't think you need to needlessly worry. Theree are many many parents in your position and support is all around.
Be strong, they need that, and know that all around are people who will help you and them. This country is not going to be killing children who are autistic. It just won't happen.

Ah, your welcome. One of my senators is on that list. A real politician he is, which is unfortunate because we had a real & honest conservative running against him.

I'm thinking it was Bobby who said Gibbs is wrong. It was just reported by my radio station... am listening to Drudge and the news at the top of the hour reported that Gibbs was wrong to say that, according to Schindlers.
Why is Gibbs saying things that are wrong about the family?? I'm confused. What is wrong with him?
