have ANY legal authority to order a Florida state prosecuting attorney to open a murder investigation?
The governor shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed
To: MTOrlando
I am shocked to learn that.
But at least they know where he is and he is reachable.

Anybody who doesn't believe an injustice is being done is content that she should die, by definition.I don't think I've seen one single FReeper who doesn't believe that it is an injustice. What I have seen are some FReepers who, while believing it is an injustice, don't want to see the very fabric of our nation torn apart by advocating rebellion, UN intervention, government official breaking the law etc... as a method of solving it...
Big difference there, FRiend.

=== GWB needs to order a full investigation by the Justice Dept.
By or of?
Maybe Danforth's available.

Actually, the US Marshals won't have to go far, as he has TWO of them guarding him at this minute. Think about that. The President sent two US Marshals to protect Judge Greer,Well, he needs to be protected from zealots who have phoned, emailed, or posted death threats...
I'm not going to fault Bush for that.

Chad, she may be conscious. I don't know, but from what I'm reading, she may be.
And Judge Greer says this "argumet" is waived because it wasn't made 3 days ago at a different hearing.
This is surreal.

Oh, don't even get me started!
I caught a part of a call into the Jerry Agar show in KC, where the guy was going off on how SELFISH the Shindlers were, since there were so many people that Terri could have been helping, if they would only allow her organs to be donated! She was dead anyway, so her organs should have been used to help "the living."
Jerry was beside himself, and I nearly drove my car off the road.
I swear, it seems like we're living in a Monty Python sketch!

Wait a minute.
THAT WAS NOT THE ISSUE...
The issue was about ''show when it happened for ONE person..."
NOT THE WHY.
To: MTOrlando
He could recommend, but I doubt he can order - and even if he DID order, what prosecutor would open a case for "First Degree Murder" by a sitting judge in a legal proceeding?
It' sillyon it's face.

This is a ghastly creature, a true spawn of hell. He sees beauty in the death of the innocent. He revels in it. Unfortunately, so do many Americans.

"WISHFUL THINKING. The Bushes want this evil episode to be forgotten quickly. There will be no investigation that would keep it in the public consciousness."
Indeed, indeed.

That I agree with. FInally, a rational, well-thought out potential solution to this issue.
Thank yo, FranApple.
