Was Jesus on the cross for 3 or 4 days? Or am I losing it?

I have read historically that some crucifixion victims took a lot longer to die, over a span of some days.

Dr. K sounds silly and ignorant. He's mixing up the customary practice of crucifixion with what actually happened to Jesus Christ.
