Oh, don't even get me started!

I caught a part of a call into the Jerry Agar show in KC, where the guy was going off on how SELFISH the Shindlers were, since there were so many people that Terri could have been helping, if they would only allow her organs to be donated! She was dead anyway, so her organs should have been used to help "the living."

Jerry was beside himself, and I nearly drove my car off the road.

I swear, it seems like we're living in a Monty Python sketch!

Mark

Well it's been stated before, but a caller into Laura was disgusted the Pope was still hanging on.

Very sick people and I urge them to keep speaking. As each day of terri being starved to death continues I want America to hear these people. I want them to recoil. I want them to know what they were so gullible to approve without understanding the pro-Death chorus driving it.

A patient must be determined to be clinically brain dead before organs can be harvested. Brain death means cessation of all brain activity, including that of the brain stem. There are very specific clinical observations and tests that must be done to verify brain death. Terri's brain stem was unaffected, so she could not be declared clinically brain dead. However, after Felos succeeds with this case, watch for the pro-euthanasia crowd to press for patients diagnosed as PVS to become eligible as organ donors.
