Terri Schiavo Before dehydration

Contrary to predictions that Terri Schiavo's starvation death would be painless and dignified, an eyewitness who visited her hospice room early Saturday morning reports that she is now bleeding from the eyes and mouth.
Fox News Channel's "Fox & Friends" reported Saturday morning:
"Barbara Weller, who's is one of the attorneys for the Schindlers, says that the last time she checked in, not very many hours ago, Terri's eyes and tongue were bleeding now.
"Her eyes are sunken and her skin continues to flake off," Weller added.
On Thursday Terri's parents reported that their daughter now resembles "an Auschwitz victim."
At the request of Michael Schiavo's attorney, Judge George Greer has banned cameras and video equipment from her room, precluding the possibility that a photographic record of her deteriorating condition might be kept.
The eyewitness accounts stand in stark contrast to predictions from medical experts cited in numerous media reports who insisted that Terri's starvation death would not be gruesome.
On Wednesday, for instance, the Los Angles Times reported:
"Doctors say that going without food and water in the last weeks of life is not traumatic, and that the body is equipped to adjust to such conditions."
The paper quoted Dr. Perry G. Fine, vice president of medical affairs at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in Arlington, Va.
Thank you for making that distinction. Terri is not terminally ill - she is living with a disability. There is a huge difference.

That is probably close to true. The overall progression was extremely swift - five weeks from diagnosis to death - but as I recall that the 'final phase' was about 7 or 8 days after the decision to wrap things up (the timing is somewhat blurry in my recollection, because of how jarring it all was and also because I had to leave for a couple of days and go back). He was on very heavy morphine, fwiw, and it was probably the morphine that actually killed him in the end I suspect (though not officially, of course).

DJ, recall the parents have been begging to take over all care for her, including all expenses. Therefore, she is not an 'inconvenience' to him, by any stretch of the imagination. He wants her DEAD! That can only mean he truly HATES her, or he fears what she could tell the world about him if she recovers. Maybe both.
My forefathers rose up with Winston to fight the Nazis, and it was to defend Britain - not just as a geographical expression, but as an idea of liberty, freedom and individual rights. "Seventy-eight people were found dead on arrival in the vans at the military camp," Dr. Pornthip Rojanasunan, a Justice Ministry pathologist, said in an interview.
"They showed bleeding in the eyes, in the white part of the eyeballs, and bleeding on the body underneath the skin, only tiny spots of bleeding" which are evidence of "suffocation," Dr. Pornthip said.

Judicial Tyranny you ain't kidding! Greer has commandeered for himself an army out of the county police and all the county sheriffs. Is this a Banana Republic we are looking at?
If I were Jeb I'd go in there with the DCFS and National Guard, and enforce the law that the legislature passed. They want Greer? Have the National Guard take him with... in irons.
Yes, the morphine is what eventually killed my mother-in-law too. I was with her when she died a horrible death from cancer, she vomited blood at the end.
Brother says mom is not even allowed to put an ice chip to Terri's lips. The estranged "husband" controls not only the method of this murder, but also who can visit, if they can examine her, etc.
I think the news conferences should be short & to the point, just say
"Please let us give her a drink of water, she is suffering."
I hope that Jeb Bush has this whole crew of judges, lawyers and dr's thoroughly investigated.
The corruption going on there is enough to land a dozen people or more in jail.

Terri's blood is being poured out as a witness. She is testifying against those monsters who are tormening her. She is speaking even now. Screaming for help and revenge.

There is a great deal of difference biologically between a diseased body about to die a natural death, and a healthy body all of a sudden having an UNnatural death imposed upon it.
In the former, the body organs shut down one by one and the process CAN be peaceful, especially if the correct medication is administered. It is also quite usual for people near a natural death to need neither food nor water, and in fact their bodies will reject it.
In Terri's case, she had a healthy body. Starvation and dehydration were FORCED upon her healthy body, and a healthy body is going to try and protect itself and REBEL
VIOLENTLY every time. It is a horrible death. FWIW - Repent.
The deterioration of Terri's body in the next few days will be horrific, and any eyewitness description will damn the Judge and HINO forever.
I expect her lifeless body will be gathered up in the middle of the night to be taken to the crematorium where all evidence will be destroyed.
Death with "dignity."
The trail of evil here is surreal.

At one point earlier this week, the police were strip searching her parents and family. I think it would be dang difficult to bring in a camera under those circumstances.
