That is ridiculous! Jeb Bush isn't going to risk his political future...Even if her tube was reinserted she might die anyway now.

If that's the case then are George HW Bush, Barbara, Laura and the lot of them phonies? Not really the kind and caring people they are known to be? It's all fake?

I hate to tell you this, but if she dies there in his state, Jeb's political future is in real trouble. Don't forget who is at the core of his political base: evangelical Christians, and they're not going to like the results of this even if Jeb made a solid effort to help Terri. Remember this, and as a stock market trader I know this is true: In many people, emotion is more powerful than logic and emotion is going to work against Jeb if Terri starves to death in his state.

It's a matter of principle. Political future should mean nothing. If our leaders don't make decisions based on principle, then what is the use of having leaders. If we don't take action based on principle now during a life and death situation, we never will.

He certainly would not lose my support and I'm sure you would continue to support him as well. It would be up to us as good citizens to encourage others to support him.

That's right and neither will George. All his "err on the side of life" is gas.

Jeb's political future is over if he does not act, and anything W had planned to get passed in his second term with support from his party base is also gone south.

This guy has no political future. There's still time for him to avoid this fate, but it's waning.

Correct. But POTUS doesnt have one. DoJ should have enforced the law Congress passed, without letting these weenies go to the courts for permission.

Before the President signed the Bill, DoJ Should have put a team in place to secure Terri, and remove her from Fla, to a negihbor state with a friendly Governor, Once the bill was signed, she should have been whisked away, while the Federal courts conducted the De Novo review Congress mandated.
